Omg, the most beautiful church I have ever seen is in north Indianapolis on Meridian Street. We passed it one night and it was all lit up. A beautiful sight to behold.

Want some excitement at a memorial? Partake of the emblems. :D
What happens if someone does? My friend told me not to (I would have, being raised Catholic). What I kept thinking through the event was, "how does somone know if they should take the bread and wine?" It seemed so odd.

If you partake, you would be viewed as A.) crazy B.) naive or C.) an evil instigator beset by lofty ambitions to bring down the organization of JW faithful. Generally the people who partake at a hall are people who have gone to a Kingdom Hall for some time and generally everyone that goes to a KH knows through hearsay who should partake. If someone partakes and its their first meeting a red flag would pop up and someone at the hall will ask you what you're doing there, and will want to confirm what congregation you're from so they can "make sure" they know you're going to heaven. I know, its laughable...

Oh they are soo soo boring. I for some reason can't sit through lectures, whether it be school, or meetings. I fall asleep at some point, and snore myself awake, but the snores aren't very loud, just loud enough internally to wake myself up. One time i sat up front, I usually hate sitting up front cause you have to keep awake because everyone sees you nodding off. This lady, just fell asleep and made the loudest snore, and it was going on for about 1-2 minutes until she woke up. I have fallen asleep on the one on one bible studies. I remember i fell asleep while they asked me a question, and i woke up a second later and totally forgot what they asked me. Some kids in the back sleep too and i always envy how they can sleep through the whole thing and their parents won't wake them up. The service meetings and public talks are probably the most boring.
Yeah, you’ve pretty much hit the nail squarely on the head. Although, like Legolas my KH was always packed on memorial. Not like you could fit a thousand people in the building, but a normal Sunday would average 125 people, plus or minus. The memorial would average about 250.
Yeah, my hall was always full to the gills. My favorite thing to do was dress really nicely and then flirt with the married guy I fucked who died after I was disfelowshiped right before the last half of my senior year after I moved to a new congragation who everybody knew his wife and hated me by way of her. It gave me something to do though, that shit's BORING!

I might have stayed a little longer if you had been in my Hall. I bet you brightened up the meetings. WELCOME TO THE BOARD !!!
Pyro-
Welcome! How did the "married guy" die? Loneliness and heartbreak?
Welcome Pyro!!!!
The meetings were always so boring, and the worst bit was that if you completely blanked out and daydreamed through it all, as I almost always did, then guaranteed at the end you would get some idiot come up and ask what you enjoyed most about the meeting, and you'd be racking your brain trying to think what it was about.
