Yum. They're gonna love you!
Why waste ground on burial? We do cremation in our family. Cheap and takes up very little space. Why feed the worms? Makes me think of the song by Dave Matthews: Grave Digger.
Grave digger, when you dig my grave, can you make it shallow, so I can feel the rain? My son wishes to be buried in the earth with no coffin, just him. I asked him to consider cremation.
because it makes for good potting soil.
"oh look! how marvelous are those lilacs growing out of grandpa?!"
... how marvelous are those lilacs growing out of grandpa
lilacs grow on a bush :) sorry they are my fav. plus, i couldnt resist ;)
yeah, i miss the point too. green burials are the only way to go.
Yah , I never could see the point with all the preservation of the body after death . I think the land should be used by the living and the dead just need to move along into the memories of loved ones . We don't need monuments unless you did something to contribute to something worth mentioning .
lilacs grow on a bush :)
damn!
well...i suppose the flowers are growing off of grandpa's bush then? (i think you just pushed this discussion into a whole other realm. LOL)

I had no "point" in this thread, other than what you all have said--simple is good. However, when I call the company offering this "service," (which I intended to do today), how much do you think they will charge for it?
thats not what i meant lil darwin.
that is sooo wrong!
