It just occurred to me that all of these mobile blood donor clinics usually get some free advertising on radio and TV just before the event where they are going to set up.
If you contact the radio and TV stations to see if they have any "community events" people, they'd probably be happy to offer some airtime.
The people who organize Mobile Blood Donor Clinics around here often get posters and flyers to help promote their events too.

Here in NY there is the city's information hotline---311----outside of New York you can dial 212-NEW-YORK. The operators are extremely helpful.
Now, I'll admit I was very shocked and upset about that thread---and I'm not one to get upset very easily, but when I do I'm vocal about it. In my heart of hearts I really don't want to back out and I want to support this, but at the same time I don't want to be taken for a ride. If in fact that post was made by someone other than Shunned Father, then Lawrence I owe you a big apology, and I am with you 100%.
Let's all brainstorm then and find ways to really raise the roof in Brooklyn! I just loved Scully's idea. Time is short though. Can someone please volunteer to jump start the blood drive? And who was that poster long ago who would sign on with different names that would post all of the silentlamb/ U.N./ Rand/ etc. stuff that appeared in most of the search engines? Wait, it was NANCY PARK as I now recall.
Isn't this just the type of thread they used to make (beacon of truth) wanting to get others fired up because they did not think we were concerned enough?
I think B OF T is indeed NANCY PARK, re-incarnated.
I seriously doubt Larry would jeopardize and/ or sabotage his cause here. It would be so foolish of a risk to take making up a thread like the one B OF T did.
And if you recall, Nancy Park never would reference whom they were quoting when they brought items here to cut and paste. They just cut and pasted then went on to the next cut and paste. Rarely would they reply to any of their threads.
We would do well to consider that this is what has happened here.
Yet, of course, I have no solid proof.
