I was told recently a woman stayed with her abusive husband for 15 years, cos she didnt want a PUBLIC REPROOF ..........WTF?
That describes me exactly. Until the thoughts of suicide were scarier that the thought of reproof. In the end I was DFed but it was still better than suicide
