I liked the cat one, very convincing. Interesting that nobody phones home to say "I wish I hadn't been such a twat, it's too warm down here"

hehe... I think it's because 'hell' is highly over-rated as to an actual locale. btw, some of the stories are VERY interesting others are like, hmmmm..

We find out when we get there.
Until then, we make the most of the life we have, every day we have.

The bible is clear about this.
We cease to exist, to me it's very clear.

Do we really know what life is? Are there things we just can't understand or discover?
An example: My wife was about 7 years old and she was with her family returning from church and her mother said, "I see Junior laying on the side of the road with rain on his face." It scared my wife and when they got home and were sitting around in the kitchen there was a knock on the door and her mother said,"they have come to tell us about Junior". It was true, he had been killed in an accident and was laying in the ditch dead. He was driving a pickup truck with several friends and had run off the road and fell out the door. Junior was her oldest brother.
I believe we are physical and we die but sometimes I wonder about things like this. Maybe we may emit something like radio waves and sometimes it can be picked up in our brain. I just have to admit I don't know very much about this universe of ours.

JamesThomas said, "Have we mistaken ourselves for something we are not, and so blinded awarness to what IS?"
This is the key to the whole shebang; all of the drama of this world dances around this fundamental mistake. In the recognition of one's true nature "I" dies even while the body continues to function (perhaps "die" is not quite the right way to put it. More accurate would be to say that "I" is seen to never have really existed in the first place). What's left after "I" dies is dis-covered to be the eternal, to be life itself - and THAT"S what you really are. "You" never die.
"Die" before "death" and see that "you" are life itself, eternal and free, unbounded and unlimited. This is the open secret that is waiting to be dis-covered, and it can only be dis-covered right here, right now. Why wait until the body drops?
