I'm not thinking of just JWD posters, but in total how many do you suppose had their eyes opened and left the borg after reading COC?
What's your gut feel?
Just curious, I don't know the answer but can only guess. But what's your best guess?

Already had one foot out the door when I read it.
Me too Blondie. But it was the last nail in the coffin for me. I realized then there was nothing truthful about The Truth.
Yeah i know, but how many people do you think were affected by reading it?
COC didnt cause me to come out on the bOrg, it did confirm alot of what I thought about the bOrg though.
Glad to know I wasn't crazy.
I'm with those who were already out by the time I read "Crisis of Conscience". The book helped me see that the Watchtower leadership was more interested in keeping the corporation afloat rather than they were in the rank-and-file Witnesses or humanity in general.
After reading it, I knew I could never go back to the JW's, despite missing family and friends who are still inside.
I would guess that the number of active JW's who read the book and then leave is quite small. Most nominal JW's who have read it were probably already on their way out anyhow.
I left and found out about CoC on this website. After reading it I decided that there was no way I was ever going to go back.
Its difficult to judge how many would/could have left after reading it. No JW with any level of real integrity could NOT leave after reading it, but so so so many are simply brainwashed into believeing what they are told by the bOrg, not thru their own research.
I just finished reading it yesterday. It's doubtful to me that anyone who wasn't already questioning their beliefs would read it in the first place.
Most true blue witlesses would not read it out of loyalty, or fear.
Don't you think when somebody decides to read it they are already looking for information that confirms the doubts and sense of something not right in the State of Denmark?
I have not read it yet myself, but what others have said confirms many suspicions. A lot of the anecdotal evidence in the book tallies with stories I have heard from Brothelites and COs and others.

I think anybody that book'd appeal to already has started some level of exit. All Witnesses I know who want to stay Witnesses and like being Witnesses wouldn't touch that book with a ten foot pole.
