Interesting story. I've never had dilusions of elders being appointed by Jehovah though so Im not surprised.

Got a good one. There was a prominent elder in my circuit. In fact this brother conducted a day at my pioneer school as the CO at the time had to take his wife to the doctor. He was disfellowshipped for cheating on his wife. This brother was very well known. At every district and circuit assembly you could expect a part from him. It was relayed to me from his committee meeting that the pioneer sister he was involved with wanted to come forward with the affair. He told her, "Who are they going to believe? You, a sister, or me a brother who gives parts on assemblies, a well respected elder?
He needs a barrel to carry those brass ones in.
