We were invited to the home of my oldests girlfriend. They were very kind and gracious and knew I was newly separated and took virtual total strangers into their home. And even with a migraine this sweet lady cooked all day and managed to be gracious and wonderful to us. We said a prayer around the table. Only were there a couple hours because I could tell she was waning. Went from there to surprise my eldest son who was working...and it was DEAD at his restaurant...but his gf brought him a doggie bag and we had a nice time talking. He and she are coming over here tomorrow and just the kids and I will pig out again and decorate the house for CHRISTMAS! YAYYYY...and yes...everybody is PASSED OUT. BUT me of course. Im used to being up all night because of the shift I work.

i see so many who have concluded that it was not 'god inspired', a lot of what is being done, and their conscience told them that many things conflicted with jesus teachings and the bible.

Any time you break up with somebody...they will bad mouth you. Thats the way people are. Misery loves company. I had been "in the world" until I was 30 and became a JW, and when I left the JWs at age 43, I had NEVER in my life heard so much bad mouthing, gossipping, back stabbing and hate come from a group of people as it did from the JWs...and mostly towards EACH OTHER which is even more deplorable.
So pay it no mind...if you arent the target of their slander, someone else would be. They hate their lives and have nothing better to do than rip each other apart like animals in a cage.
