  Why the JWs must get EVERYTHING right

  some feel that it is enough for the witnesses to understand a few major doctrines correctly.

  whatever doctrines are important to you--trinity, hellfire, the soul, etc--if the jws are in agreement with your own beliefs on the subject, is that enough to make them a religion worth being a part of?.

  the society is fond of using the illustration of a beautifully prepared, tasty and nutritious meal.

  Dr. Phil...if I may...calls this kind of battling to be RIGHT "right fighters". It doesnt MATTER if they are actually correct, they will defend to the death their stand. And they have built into the system all the loop holes, circular reasoning, misquotes and red herrings they need to always lead you back to their "rightness" in all situations.

  I noticed this looking back at my own initial indoctrination process...they were teaching me that when there was an increase in the number of witnesses "jehovah was blessing the work" and when there was a decrease in witnesses "it has been prophesied that there would be a cooing off and a separation of the wheat and the weeds...." so either way...they were covered.

  WHERE in the bible does it say each creative day was 6,000 years? Ending around 1975??

  could be 8,000 or 18,000 years long......if to jehovah each "a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years a day.

  " 1975 armagedon theory was based on this.

  {notice how this theory has since died off} my wife was told off by an elder for giving a talk on "creative days not 24 hours" but not stating each was 6,000 years long...she said she didn't believe it....he backed off and said okay then!

  I thought a day was like a thousand years to God? When did a day become 7000 years?

  And Quad...you can teach as a female if you put a disposable diaper on your head while you do. At least thats what the pioneers used to do before they went out in service if there was no older man available LOL!

  I dont think there will ever be a time when this country would be "ready" for a minority president. The issue needed to be addressed. Its like waiting until you are financially stable to have children. What...when you are ready for retirement? :) I love the mans face forward, tell it like it is, take no prisoners attitude. He has a helluva mess to clean up and that mess was NOT created by him, so we only have up to go from where the Bushes left us. War, recession, housing in the dumpster, joblessness, banks and big car manufacturers going bust...yep...all those things that were caused by "white men" in charge of those institutions.

  His color has absolutely nothing to do with his ability to do his job. I think it gives him strength and understanding of people that most of us dont or cant, understand.

  So...to answer the question. I still love the guy and am proud he is our president.

  not the way to refute watchtower theology:.

  bill and joan cetnar make a statement that russell said he spoke to angels , this is a blatant lie and we know what the bible says about liars .... he also says that russell claimed to be the fds and the laodicean messenger, both statements are misleading .

  russell never claimed in any of his writings that he spoke to angels or was the aforementioned messenger or the fds , rather it was some of his associates that suggested he may be.. the cetnars also make a number of other poorly researched and misleading statements that sadly bring their own characters into disrepute .. .

  so it was time for the 25 year reunion of tawas area high school's class of '84.

  because i was class president, i've been responsible for throwing all the reunions we've held.

  while i come to michigan on business a few times per year, i don't usually make it all the way up to the little, northeast, lake huron tourist town where they live.

  That was probably the classiest thing I have read in a long time. Your wife is a saint for doing that. And no matter that dad is in pioneer school...this effort on both of your parts HAD to get them both thinking about what the heck they were doing. I bet your mom cries for a week after that missing you.

  so i assume the back of the territory card was not marked that apostates live at this address.do they still do that?

  anyway the first thing i asked her was if she had a back issue of the july 09 awake.

  she looked through her bag said she didn't but could get me a copy and bring it back to me.

  I too am always nice to the victim volunteers who come to my door. Hapless drones that they are. I tell them Im an EXJW and if they translate that into "apostate" in their addled brains thats their problem. But i am ALWAYS kind.

  a drop dead knockout woman walks in who's dressed provocatively and asks you a question.

  you can actually feel the blood draining from your skull and your speech reverting to a grunting, stumbling cave man talk.

  cathy stopped by today.

  i hadn't seen her for some time.

  in fact our last encounter ended poorly.. cathy is a truely beautiful 27 year old single knock out and second-generation jw.

  Which only goes to show ya, that you never know when you are sowing seeds in somebody. They may walk away like Cathy did, totally wanting Armageddon to fry your ass like NOW...and going away and thinking about what you said when they have calmed down.

  So keep on sowing out there you guys...do it fearlessly. You just cant tell. Oooh...god..almost sounded like a kingdoom melody coming on there..so sorry LOL
