jesus denies being God! scriptural discussion.

i thought after recently reading the bible i would put up for disussion some recent scriptures up which for me show that jesus never viewed himself as god and anyone listening would also see it this way too.. first mark 10 :17-20.

here is the latest on keith macgregor.

keith was flown home to nelson yesterday but within a few hours was back in the hospital.

at 2 am this morning he was having great difficulty breathing.

God's "official channel"

i'm amazed at how many on this forum, believe the gb really believes their own lie, that they are god's "official channel".

are there many of you that believe as i do.

i believe somewhere deep down they know they are just fooling people.

a paradise earth right around the corner, a spiritual paradise, real friends, etc.

This exact thought is what makes the hope they have reachable. Its something they make up on there own. Its like a fantasy. What will it be like, they dont care they just hope themselves into it.

And make things up as they go along, Its also like a child who has a make believe friend. They can make it whatever they need it to be. Thats really what makes there paradise something they can have right now. (in there mind of course)

Its total frabrication of there earthly paradise. Whether it includes OT characters NT characters. Old family members, famous people, whatever they invision to satisfy there hope.

I know this, mom does it all the time. She doesnt know how silly it sounds.

My mom(jw) is very sincere and believes the GB is Gods channel, but she will not allow herself to "go there" and explain it. The fear is that she might have to get into an area which is gray at best.

The fear that she will not be able to give an account for this "channel" is what keeps her away from it. Hence the self deception.

This could be an area of "apostate thinking" or, if I may quote the WT "where do you get get your spiritual food from?"

Mind control? In its purest form!

What is the best state to live in in America?

interested to hear from any who have traveled or moved around a bunch....i am talking climate, nearness to mountains or beach or both, cost of living, etc.....as much as i love what california has to offer naturewise, the natural disasters and cost of living there bum me out....since i like mountains and beach, a climate a little less hot than florida.... i lean toward virginia straight south down through georgia, so both carolinas too.

maybe maryland too, but the further north you go, the colder the water and worse the winter, but still the new england coastal states are incredible........oompa.

Good stuff, ive heard lots of those. My last trip back in july this year, the guy we rent from broke out the moonshine, very tasty, he had strawberry, appricot, and butterscotch. The consistency was that of a thick koolaide. The strawberry had strawberries floating in the jar, as well as the appricot.. Just sippin by the fire with a nice mild ashton or cohiba, Doesnt get much better than that, after a day of atv-ing.

I vacation in West Virginia every year. I love it. I think the best thing I like about it is the slow pace of living. No one seems to be in a hurry. Although Arizona is nice because of the weather.

West Virgina is my choice....... Low cost of living, friendly folks, still get the seasonal change. Not overly populated.Cheap land.

regular dub vs. 144K dub

jw doctrine teaches that humans do not have a spirit that continues on after death......so.......... how is the element manifested inside the human form that enables a heaven bound witness to continue on to heaven?

and why are they automatically given robes, and their clean and spotless before the lamb?

since the great crowd dub has to work and wait for perfection does this mean christs' ransom was of greater value for the 144k?

Elderwho, I don't think JW's would say those resurrected to heaven lose their memories of sin and knowledge of what sin is. The difference is they die and have thus paid the wages of sin but they are resurrected with a spirit body, which is not subject to Adamic sin.

Ive heard this before, I think its amazing that doctrine is built upon no scriptural backing whatsoever. Lets see, memories resurrected and placed into a spiritual body/being? And they have a hard time considering the trinity as a mystery?

have you ever noticed that whenever you are talking with a dub about another dub that partakes during the memorial, they always say..."well, they profess to be of the anointed".

it's almost as if they don't want anyone to be anointed.

if they believe in the anointed class, then why don't they 100% acknowledge everyone that says that they are anointed.

This is called envy. Its what happens in a two class system. Btw is not supported by scripture.
