  this past weekend my wife and i had the privilege of having joan cetnar stay in our home for the weekend to attend a counter-cult seminar at deputydogs(forum poster)church.. she is a forth generation witness, who lived a few miles from bethel on her familys farm.

  she told stories of her youth, like when the brass from the towers would come to her familys farm for a little r & r. these are the likes of covington, knorr to name a few.

  i sat there in amazment listening to her tell these stories with such insight on the upper echelon of the org.

  Michael Jacksons parents letter to ORG.

  on good morning america wed. morning they had a story on how broke mj is, and how a man that was owed money by the jasksons wound up with a trailer full of jaskson lute, costumes, gold records, paintings by michael as well as letters to his mom.. so the host charlie gibsons asks this guy what was really strange in all this stuff, the guy tells him about a letter the jacksons(parents) wrote to the jehovahs witnesses watchtower society and chastised them for da-ing their son.

  Making 607 crumble

  during my eight month long study with "elder bob" (moms husband) we have batted around many subjects to say the least.

  but the one that really stands out is the dreaded date of 607 bc.

  im sorry i just will not let up with this date, and him having to prove it can stand.

  Do Jw men treat wives as Christ treats the church?

  what has irked me lately is the way my mothers husband (elder bob) treats mom.

  in typical jw fashion subserviant, always careful in speaking out of turn esspecially our weekly study( "bible study") er book study.. i have to find a way to work in the reference of treating wives the way christ treats the church and let elder bob stew on that, but being careful not to plant seeds of resentment, with mom.
