even when i was dyed-in-the-wool j-dub, i felt the armageddon teaching was one of the most morbid concepts to be hammered into the psyches of jws.
think about it, only jws would survive this catastrophe, which translates to roughly .001 percent of the population would survive while everyone else would die a horrible death.
that includes people who do good things and are good people, but are just not jws.

i had never thought about this that much until now.
my wife and i have been living in this community for over 6 years now , and nobody has ever called upon my wife or myself for that matter, to encourage us back to the meetings as jehovahs witnesses , who have become inactive /faded .. the same goes for my son and his wife , who live in the same area , have never been contacted with the intent of trying to re-activate them.. admittedly, only a couple of times in these past 6 years we both my son and i , have had witnesses call upon us in the normal d2d work , without acknowledging if ever they knew we were non practicising witnesses .
hard to beleive since my neice is in the local congregation , and is aware of our former congregations that we attended .. to cap it off , a few of our "freinds" who know where we are have never ever offered any encouragement or support in trying to get us back to their "truth ".
I can think of absolutely nothing good to say about the POS cult.
i am thinking of sending a simple fb message to all of the jws i know.. "jwfacts.com" with the tag line, "you're in a cult.".

i am disturbed about the fact that these people that pretended to be friends look at me with a negative eye and have no clue as to how they abandoned my girls and i in a desperate time of need over the course of this past year.
If everyone in this POS cult said how they feel this POS cult wouldn't exist any more.

i studied with a wonderful jw couple weekly for 3 years.
jdubs are batshit crazy.

Fear of guilt?
Fear of death?
Fear of poverty?
Fear of ill health?
Fear of old age?
Desire to control other?
Desire to be a part of a group?
Desire to give up locus of control?
Desire to decrease guilt?
Narcissistic abuse?
Desire for narcissistic supply?
I honestly think the JW’s are so conditioned to resist and fight with an US VS. THEM mentality that even when they become disenchanted with the religion, or thrown out of the religion, they have such a callous behavior pattern to resist, (their nervous system is so in tuned, or fine tuned to resist others) that they just go ballistic from all of the ambient abuse and pain of the life as a jw. This would also explain why xjw’s become stark raving crazed atheist upon expulsion or removal.
