I recently became aware of the new light. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this new light concerning 1914 means that the wt have been preaching the wrong doctrine for decades?
Am I wrong or right please clarify if you know

Hi and welcome to the forum
I think the most recent change concerns the "generation". It is another in a long line of changes. Perhaps somebody can point you to the chart that outlines the history of the doctrine.
Of course you should also check the evidence that 1914 is based on a wrong start date. Jerusalem did not fall in 607 but in 587.
JWFacts.com is a good place to check for some well researched articles.

Yep, no matter how you slice it, the JWs have been preaching the wrong doctrine for decades.
Of course, if you recognized that at the time, and said anything about it, you' be Df'ed for apostasy.

Sorry to be so sarcastic did not realize your new here. Matt 28, Ephesians 1, rev. 1:5.and most notably 1 Corinthians chapter 15 show that Jesus took over power in the first century. These verses clearly show this, so the jw's made up an excuse, saying these refer Jesus become and taking over a seperate kingdom, kingdom of love based on only 1scripture. Oh the lengths they will go to push a doctrine.

There are always changes to wt doctrine,
mostly they run out of time & are forced to make
up something else!
The main doctrine of "this generation
will by no means pass away until all these things are
fulfilled" was cancelled because of "time running out"!

They said "evidently, Christ meant TWO generations" LOL

So they continually have to keep tweeking everything else!
