  i'm starting to believe the bethel higher ups are trolling us.

  the outright contradictions and stuff like overlapping generation is too ridiculous.

  calling out the harold camping when we did the same thing.

  i was just reading a post, on the strong arm tactics used by the wtbts to glit it's members into complying with the recommended motels.

  as hard as i find it to believe, it astounds me that they would put their hunchoes outside a none recommended motel, to take the names of those that wouldn't comply, to be harassed later on.

  when i think of the other money making ventures they have got going (e.g rbc refurbishments, misleading comments about convention costs).

  Why are they still going door to door?

  hey all, long time no see!.

  a friend posted the anthony morris videos on facebook today, and the ensuing conversation got me wondering: why are the jws still going door-to-door in the developed world?.

  it's clearly useless as an evangelizing tactic; the wt have recognized that for 20 years, with their "go where the people are" spiel, but they also insist that it's still necessary.. .

  why do the jw's insist that jesus was crucified on a stake??

  the practice by the romans back in that time was to use a cross.

  i've even heard of some witnesses say it was due to "lack of wood.

  we were watching dora the explorer together and my daughter still likes dora as she just turned 5.

  (her birthday is on valentines day but that's another story.).

  I laughed and said. That’s funny. That’s really funny. And my brain said it kind of hurt. But my most precious part of me said. That’s funny coming from a devout jw who came from the slums of the phillipines and catfished her way over 95 percent of the world population in terms of economic wealth.

  And I laughed with my daughter. And we had a good one over that. I don’t wish bad on anybody but it’s usually at those moments of slamming somebody in to the pavement that it’s the peak and time to sell the farm.

  we have had a letter read the last 2 meetings to all congs attenidng the detroit dc's... seems people are not going, or not booking their hotels.

  and the society is pissed!

  they are imploring every one to not wait for a new list with new hotels, it is not happening.
