Look how far behind the site was in 2012! It makes no sense. They are literally terrified of every new advancement by the human race.

so brohter (not elder or anything but many years active) had to give talk this week.
talk related to how jehovah gives abilities to people thru the spirit.
started off with the mention of how god told moises to build the tent and gave people the abilities to work wood, stone, etc.

"This is the only official Web site of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the legal organization in use by Jehovah's Witnesses. While other sites may express favorable or unfavorable opinions about us and our work, this site is the authoritative source about the beliefs, teachings, and activities of Jehovah's Witnesses."
haha oh how behind they were. Almost 20 years later and they're even more on the defense about the internet.

PS - It's sad to think they really just started using the internet in the last few years. Maybe in another 20 years they will use social media.
would you do a ray franz deal and write a book or keep quiet and live out the rest of your life in bethel?.
would you keep reading the watchtower magazine?.
I'd tell them to keep their thoughts to themselves and stay in line.
Do they want to live out the remaining years in a cardboard box with hardly any health benefits?
it can be anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes!
as long as you've had a literature discussion three times, you can start counting it as a study.
first, they say you can now count only 15 minutes a month.
Pretty sure the Org could comfortably get by with only about half of that, too.
I'm not too sure they could. I think a lot of us fail to realize how much they probably spend each month. Yes time and resources are donated but these guys spend money like idiots.
They are renovating KH, building headquarters, updating all Walkill buildings, printing, expenses, Bethelites etc...
They got use to spending how much is currently coming in. They have to do quite a bit of scaling back to be able to survive with only 1-2 million JW's.
do you think any of the members of the governing body have at one time in their lives committed an immoral sex act but never confessed?
remember leo greenlees.
fornication, adultery or something else?
I don't know when a GB member would get a chance to. He is literally around JW 24/7.
I do wonder if JW women ever come onto them though. Some women are drawn to a man in power. That goes both ways but there are no female GB members.
do you think any members of the governing body visit this site-jwn regularly?.
how about the heavies in the organization, like the writers, lawyers, and other who work at headquarters?.
for all we know john aquila could be a member of the gb..
I think 100% they have a team that monitor these sites and ones like it. They'd be dumb not to. It's how they get a feel for what people really think since no JW will say it to their face. It's def how they get a general census on what they say and do.
I doubt they themselves look at these sites. I know in Bethel the internet is heavily monitored and people are always getting sent home for being on sites they shouldn't be on. I'm sure the GB internet traffic is monitored the same way.
What I don't know is whether it's group at Bethel monitoring these sites or if they hire someone to do that. I'd imagine the turn over would be very high if they did it in house. They most likely pay a PR firm a few hundred a month to report back on the internet activity.

started 5/27/2015.
Is there any chance that the supreme court could increase the chargers?
Also, doesn't supreme court cases get a lot more public and media attention?
I can't imagine it'd look good even if they win.

I'd just like to verify this story. I know the individual in this report. He was put away for a few years and was released about 4 years ago.
He was in fact a JW and is still currently a JW. He is now married and runs a construction business.
His sentenced wasn't too long because he worked with authorities and "ratted" out the other guys.
He was 100% a JW and still is.

i was thinking about green handshakes, and i knew my wife and i personally would try to slide at least $100 each c.o visit to the c.o.
if we were low on cash, we'd never hand him less than $20.
how many of such handshakes does he receive in a weeks time?
I know that each hall they visit the submit an expense list. Their food, dry cleaning etc... The congregation agrees to pay it. They use to "vote" on it where everyone said yes but now halls just pay it without the needing to vote.
I also know of a sister who has huge mental problems. The elders are aware and so is the congregation. As in, she's not stable and everyone know it. She gave the CO her tax rebate of over $600 and he took it without the bat of an eye. Even knowing that she had mental issues.
