If we follow this line of reasoning, then ALL Christians would be bloodguilty as it is virtually impossible for us to preach to EVERYONE that we meet!

Inactive ones are bloodguilty?
by dissonance_resolved ini've been thinking about brother morris' statement at the zone meeting this past weekend that inactive ones are bloodguilty.
bloodguilt is defined as "guilty of murder or manslaughter.
" murder is #1 on the list of disfellowshipping offenses- all they would have to do is change the wording from "murder" to "bloodguilt" and suddenly there you have grounds to disfellowship anyone who's inactive.

Year 3: Personal Experiences
by Londo111 inhttp://youtu.be/nnnabt9x5lm?list=plynx0om_bmgdobkrzev2tax1jzdquagy8.
this is my third year since i signed up on jwn and i wanted to do something a bit different--a slight unmasking of sorts and greet everyone face to face.
even with the help of a few notes, this is rambling, raw, and by no means the best personal experience video out there.

I enjoyed your video, Londo. You're not making an idiot out of yourself, please be assured of that!

Anthony Morris The Third
by Yondaime inwhen i am3 was going to speak i was ecstatic to hear this lunatic embarass himself.
after the propaganda indoctrination session, a relative asked me what my spiritual goals were, i told em i want to become a servant before i turn 23 so i could get laid.
lmfao.

Agreed. 3AM sounds like a modern day Pharisees, being obsessed with petty man-made laws while failing to see the bigger picture!

Are All Christians Appointed as a Watchman?
by Chris Tann inthis is a question i have been trying to answer.
at the branch visit yesterday, morris discussed eze.33,about ,how if we do not preach we are bloodguilty.
i would like very much people who are well informed on this topic to show me a thorough scriptual answer.

First question: Who was this word addressed to & when?
Second question: What is the context of this scripture?
Third question: Is there any irrefutable evidence that this scripture applies to our time?
Fourth question: Are we directly appointed by Jehovah to be watchmen as Ezekiel was? (Ezekiel 33: 7)
Fifth question: If this scripture were to apply to our time, would it not also mean that ALL Christians are bloodguilty as it is virtually impossible for us to preach to EVERYONE that we meet?
Sixth question: What are Christians in our day really commanded to do?

& They Say Privileges In The Congregation Isnt a Status
by thedepressedsoul inim sure you all have heard at one point or read that being an elder or ms isnt a position higher up but rather that you work under the congregation.. anthony morris just threw that out the window!
i have privileges in the congregation and even i was offended and felt bad for anyone who was 23 or older and not a ms!.
he goes on to tell this story of how a sister wanted to marry a brother and that anthony morris discouraged it because he was 23 and not an ms yet.

"We all know you have to suck up to the elders to be an MS. And if one of them has a personal vendetta then you will never be one"
Agreed. There has to be a concensus when the elders make appointments. So even if there are 10 elders & only 1 out of the 10 objects, you're screwed.

Religious leaders buried Gods Law under a mass of man-made rules and regulations
by thedepressedsoul inabove is a quote from the close to jehovah book.. well, after last nights branch visit we can now add colorful socks, tight dress pants for men, yoga pants (he got the word very wrong), not being an ms by age 23, not working 8-5 fully at bethel etc.... that was just from two talks last night alone!

Matt 11: 30 - "my yoke is kindly, and my load is light"
The org has made this scripture a joke, no thanks to the countless man-made laws that they have imposed on the poor sheep!

"Life is so hard!...tribulation and problems abound!" Persecution complex of witnesses.....
by stuckinarut2 inthe meeting this week is mind-blowing in the way it fuels the crippling "persecution complex" of witnesses!.
paragraph 1 set the theme with this gem:.
does it shock you that you can expect to face many tribulations before you gain the prize of everlasting life?

Agreed. It's really ridiculous that many blame Satan for problems which are self-inflicted in the first place!

JWs that are so worried about meetings, service, etc forget about their families
by cognac ini feel bad for my kids that their father puts the congregation above them.
it's so sad.
he's so busy with all this congregation stuff that they have just about no relationship.. .

I always strive to maintain balance in my life. Unfortunately, I see some in the cong who are so preoccupied in doing everything they can for "the truth" to the extent that their lives are filled with stress, families are neglected, relationships are affected, etc. resulting in the quality of their lives deteriorating badly. I just look at them & shake my head, thankful that I have the sense NOT to be in their situation
