after not going to the meetings since august and trying to sort through this with my family, my wife today told me she wants to separate because of our differences over being a witness or not.. this is ridiculous.

so i said- how can you separate from me when the religion you whole heartedly believe says you can only separate for 3 reasons- abuse, willful non-support, or stopping her from her meeting attendance, etc.

Would you say that you were having a happy marriage before you stopped going to the meetings? Could she be using this as an excuse to cover up another reason? Just wondering...

i was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".

it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.

in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

I don't know who Blondie is either.. but I remember that she was trying hard to expose some child abuse scandal or something like that, even though the odds were against her. So thanks Blondie, for your courage!
