  I tried to enjoy being in the truth - I did for a while but those feelings didn't last for long. I wanted to have fun, but the problem was that there was no one in my cong to have fun with! (mostly older ones, few young ones my age)

  By the way, Blondie... which was the abusive parent - the JW or the non-JW? Just curious...

  so, what ARE society 'approved' jobs anyway?

  obviously they feel a window washer job is a job anyone can do anywhere in he world .

  and makes great money, yea right.. so what are all those 'approved jobs?'.

  add to the list of any and all building skills, cleaning type jobs.

  so, i was reading combating cult mind control....and i was just thinking: since i've been doing research and learning about the false doctrines of the wtbs and others who are still asleep.

  the more i accept that all is not right, the more i see the depression that many in the org.

  are going through, the more i see the "human" side of things, the more i compare the average uber dub to the average mainstream christian.....the more i recognize how this cannot be jah's organazation.

  Hey Falcon, am in a similar situation as you are & can relate to how you feel. Just discovered TTATT earlier this year & realized that we have been fed with a lot of spiritual bullsh*t! Am trying to fade now before I lose my sanity...
