Why I resent being baptized into jw.cult
by freemindfade ini hate being lynched by my family for being skeptical or rational.
witness treat you as though all morality and good end with belief in the ot god yhwh.
so even if you met or exceeded their moral level and you even doubted his existence.

FMF + Phizzy --- exactly my thoughts! Even when I was an active witness, I always felt that the LESS people we preach to, the MORE would be saved. After all, not having the opportunity to know God IS a valid reason for salvation. I never understood the logic of learning a new language & preaching to the deaf, etc. If we preach to such ones & they do not accept the "truth", they would be destroyed at Armageddon RATHER than not being destroyed at all had they NOT heard the "good news"!!!Link +1 / -0 -

by economy inadam and eve story does not follow the common logic..
1) children would never believe a lie (especially from a stranger) against their father who has already proved a supreme benefactor to them!.
2) if even if they believed, normal course of action would have been to wait!

JW literature cart spot pinched by another church group!
by stuckinarut2 insooooo funny!.
the spot that is used by the local cong in our town for the literature cart has been taken over by another church group!.
the witnesses arrived to set up, and another group was in the exact same spot, with a table, and brochures and a sign..... it will be a great thing as it dilutes the effectiveness of the witness activity, by making it look confusing to the local town people!.....

The memorial talk is the most boring occasion of the year ever!!!
I always thought that inviting people to the memorial was counter-productive --- the vast majority of newcomers would NEVER set foot into a KH ever again after experiencing being bored out of their minds at the memorial!

My Mission is over!

woman being viewed secondary, refusal to greet those differing with them ....], but right in other vital areas [such as their teaching that human rule is doomed, and will be replaced by gods rule], i began a diligent search for the right organization.
