  hi guys,.

  i might go to the meeting.

  i stopped going in my heart properly in nov 2013, but i went to a couple of meetings to support a love one that was df'd and tried to teach them a little ttatt.. now another df'd loved one is coming to see me today and will likely encourage me to try and get ri'd, and i want to support her.

  You know full well the "nature of the beast" by now. So if you want to go go, if you don't then don't.

  You don't need a consensus to do this or not do this. Do what you want, which what I suspect is to go.

  the elders told my mom they obviously could have come after me but are holding hope that i will return to jehovah and be reunited to the congregation.. isnt that nice?.

  That's interesting minimus.

  So if you think about it they are admitting that "going after someone" can actually have the reverse effect and push them further away.

  As a Work of Literature The Bible is Just Dreadful

  of course it's easy to criticise the bible for all manner of serious flaws, but it fails on a more basic level.. it is just a terrible piece of literature.. this piece on "southern skeptic" is well worth a read.. god is a terrible writer....

  i was just a teenager and have a vivid memory of sitting in a chair doing a microphone for the sunday meeting.

  everyone was commenting that it didn't mean the end was far off, and it didn't change the condition of the dead, or the 144,000, or the trinity so we should still remain faithful.

  this is my first memory as a kid being just a teen that i ever had a single doubt.

  If you were to pick one book from all of human history to live your life by which one would it be?

  Put that way it's ludicrous that people even try. Even the best of books would be impossible to live by, let alone something so contradictory and divisive.

  we now have more than 165,000 [literature] carts on the streets in over 50 countries.

  it gives us visibility and availability.
