  Freddy Franz, One of the smartest men of his day????

  back in my teen years this story swept through jw land, that according to, the guinness book of records , freddy franz, was listed as one of the seven, most intelligent , men in the world.

  dose anyone else remember this?

  i remember trying to look it up, but never found anything in print, and ii point that out once or twice , and was told a co, had told about it, and he wouldn't lie!

  Which struck me as a very strange nickname for a supposed "man of God."

  I have no interest in bringing reproach upon "Jehovah's" name, it's the name of the bloodguilty group of business men and lawyers that claim to be his PR agent on earth aka WTBT$ aka JWorg that I intend to heap reproach upon - in truckloads and with impunity.

  on the one hand , if their is a disaster , a natural occurrence such as an earthquake , tsunami , tornadoes etc, the witness armageddon barometer kicks in .many fence sitters , relatives etc.

  Funny, the latest broadcast mentions something about not using euphemisms or substitute swear words, and then he goes on to perform euphamistic acts of lewdness upon bread.

  But no euphasisms..really?

  I have read a bit about this guys experience, what made it compelling for me was that as a neurosureon he knew the parts of his brain where stuff was being generated were not technically functioning at the time of his experience.

  I thnk he is genuine in his belief of what happened to him. His interpretation of the experience, well that's his to interpret I spose.

  a few days ago someone brought up an old new york newspaper called the "brooklyn eagle.

  " during lunch i had a little time to do some research about the whole jw.borg and what i found almost knocked me out of my seat.

  imagine you're a mentally out, physically in, awake jw who still attend meetings and occasionally do a little door-to-door perfunctory service just to please the still-in spouse and keep the elders off your back while you slowly and subtly try to free your spouse of the cult.

  you're also a vociferous online critic of the jw organization and its harmful policies and false teachings.

  one day while out doing your occasional perfunctory door-to-door service with a still-in jw, you knock on a door and the householder comes out and says:.

  That would indeed be a surreal experience, but, I think if I was still engaging in perfunctory service I would scrawl on the back of the tracts I was handing out
