First off I would like to say how sorry I am for you, your siblings and your family poopie.
To answer your other question I believe strongly that there is zero moral justification of so-called "clergy confessional privilege" in cases of child abuse.
I also believe the JWs cannot use "clergy privilege" to hide behind simply because they discuss the matter amongst other elders, the Branch, possibly the CO and others so confidentiality has been breached from the getgo.

1 REPORT TO POLICE.
2 Immediately suspend all Elder duties including field service.
As Elders cannot physically be with an accused 24/7 all they can do is tell police and support the victim and family by supporting their decision to go to police and the hospital.

The victim's parents should go directly to the police and let them haul the accused elder in for questioning.
JWs have no business investigating crimes.

i responded that i knew of no one that was crawling back to the meetings and gave him an incredulous hearty chuckle.
It's the kind of sarcastic concern an abductor would show to their victim who has to crawl back to them because the abductor broke their legs.

after being disgusted by the bs of the sunday meeting, i chatted with one inactive brother came back for that one meeting.
i can't exactly remember how it came up, but he told me and a sister whose a close friend of mine that she shouldn't be so uptight, we're no longer under the mosaic law.

People that go to meetings and come here to vent is what happens when WT forces people to choose between their family and their religion and their freedom of thought and speech.
If these people were allowed to be themselves at the meeting and with their families they wouldn't need to come here to air their real thoughts and feelings.

Whenever JWs make claims like this I get the impression that they are trying to convince themselves that a mass "crawling back" is occurring because that feels better that a mass "fading away" which would be the more likely scenario.
When I was still in and going to meetings the elephant in the room for our cong (and surrounding) was that were several people "drifting away" "slowing down" in the ministry and the meetings this was ignored while we all banged on about the amount of "interest" (non existant) there was and "how exciting" (not) the times were etc etc.
What deludinoids!
i bet most witnesses could not explain their blood policy, their understanding of the slave, and even simple biblical doctrines....they are an embarrassment to any old timer..
It actually works better for the borg to NOT have the dubs trying to splain stuff.
If you have teachings and policies that make no logical or moral sense you would do well to avoid explaining them in detail. Politicians and conmen know this also.
