  Hello STA

  First I want to congragulate you both for doing such a marvelous job in caring for this poor man.

  It is truly heartbreaking when you realise just how expendable life is to these so called "loving christians".

  I had my eyes opened wide one day when while doing calls with an elders wife (I will refer to her as cut throat bitch)

  she exclaimed herannoyance at this young woman for not having her study. Sister cut throat bitch explained to

  me on the way home that the woman was having chemo and she did not feel well enough for the study but

  if they couldnt do the study it would be a waste of time going. The woman could however manage the study the following

  week but this lovely sister told her that she couldnt come because she was getting her hair done for the DC!!! WTH!!!

  The truth is they only care about you while you are useful to them.

  The most heartless people I have ever met have been JWS.

  i am in awe of the level of intelligence, wit and funnybones that alot of you posess.. which made me wonder, did you have a mild superpower while you were in?

  for instance was it giving talks, commenting, research?

  maybe it was pissing people off (a much underated skill).

  It is obvious to me everyone has something to bring to table.

  I have always been more of an arty /creative type and those skills were definitely frowned upon as being suspect. I remember when I won an award for my artwork and the exhibition went on a statewide tour and ended up on the website of the arts council I thought they were going to burn me at the stake. Very "unbecoming a christian behavior" but I thought "screw you there's no crime against art".

  In the cong however I could never do the mental gymnastics required to understand the finer points of their doctrine.

  Faith to me was a matter of the heart not the head. That didn't win me friends either.

  the recent letter being us to come to detroit shows that jws are beginning not to take the gb seriously anymore.

  the buzz following the meeting was that the letter was unprecedented in its tone.

  this coming from long time jws of 30 years plus.

  Hardcore JW Friend Predicts the End of the Organization within 10 years.

  had a conversation with an aspiring elder.

  he said the end must be close because people are so discouraged that the organization can't last more than 10 years.

  this is before we received the please come to the international convention letter.

  A sister said something similar to me as what Bro ASSpiring said.

  She reckoned that most people were just "hanging on by their fingernails" and that we would'nt last any longer than 10yrs.

  My personal prediction has been that the borg will implode.
