  ok in the effort of full disclosure, i have had a couple of drinks and recently experienced a circuit assembly and a bad experience with a co.. i don't know where to effing begin.

  first of all the circuit assembly was a joke.

  half the assembly was about pioneering and selling your soul to be a no-pay salesman for the borg.

  Sometimes it's not the question that will get you into trouble, it's whether or not you accept their answer.

  But there are definitely some questions that would tip off some GB loyalist that you are entertaining doubts, and could instigate a (behind your back) investigation.

  The whole purpose of brainwashing someone is to remove from their brain any trace of a "personal belief" system.

  So no, if you still hold personal beliefs contrary to GB approved thinking, then you are not a true" member of the WT".

  You are a mole, you are like a live person in a group of brain dead zombies, and just like zombies JWs can smell a living, breathing, thinking, warm body a mile away.

  have you noticed how the org, and individuals are more concerned about the actual event such as the international conventions, rather than the content of the program?.

  i often shake my figurative head (ok, literal one too!

  ), as i see the all the hype being generated by the act of attending, and think that most are not actually interested in the stuff that will be presented, but are more concerned about simply being there or getting there..... and, they are more focussed on the activity of a campaign, such as a tract work, or invitation hand out, rather than the actual content of the material.. .

  This became apparent to me when I got used in several dramas.

  Rehearsing them for months before the actual convention meant you knew the material inside out and could recite it in your sleep.

  But when I asked people what they thought the point of the drama was they would reply they did'nt know, they only payed attention to see who was in it.

  I was shocked to discover that after all the work that goes into conventions most people did'nt care about the points only, the "whose who" of it all.

  What can I say, I very naive.

  they key to free yourself from the organization is having mental clarity of what is happening in relation to the watchtower, inside and out.

  their basic concept is that they are god's sole organization on earth.

  there really is no basis for anyone to make that statement.

  Being comfortable with YOUR decision NOT to be a SEAT-WARMER FOR THE WT anymore.

  Not settling for manipulative, conditional, fake relationships.

  Realising it's your life and you don't need someone elses permission to go or not to go meeting.

  Are you complicit if you stay in?

  i am going to throw down the gaunlet.

  those who know the truth but stay in anyways are complicit in actions of the jehovah witness organization.

  while i am sympathetic to the very difficult choices that they have to make, their unwillingness to confront the jw enables the organization.. some of you may remember my story.

  Personally, the ones who had the biggest influence on waking me up were the the ones that had the courage to walk away.

  They saw no need to apologize, explain, or ask permission. They did'nt DA or get DS they just walked away.

  It was revolutionary to me that they felt no need to abide by the "politics of leaving".

  The sky did'nt fall, the earth did'nt swallow them up, they were'nt struck by lightening, and

  their families and friends just had to deal with it.

  Those courageous trail blazers knocked a hole in the wall of the WT and just walked.

  And boy, am I grateful they did because they proved to me that if you are OK about your decision with no fuss, no bother, others will deal with it.
