  Leaked Elder's Video: How to deal with a suicidal sister

  this video will be played at one of the clam meetings in march 2016.. the content is kind of old news because it is a recut version of a previous video produced for the elder's school.

  however, it's still significant because it shows that the organization still has dissenting brothers in positions of leadership.. my thanks to the leaker.

  I have a friend who is a counselor with years of experience who works in a dedicated sexual assault clinic. She was shocked when I told her that JW Elders have zero qualifications, zero secular training on child sexual abuse.

  Many people (men and women) who were abused as children especially if the abuse was never dealt with properly and sensitively end up suicidal and in her clinic as adults. She has dealt with many JWs and she knows I used to be one so she will ask for my opinion at times to gain some more insight into her JW clients particular difficulties. I am only to happy to get her whatever info she needs.

  The professionals left to deal with the mess JW elders leave behind are often working blind because JWs as a group are very secretive and protective of the group.

  since the watchtowers' lawyers have (a) failed to make any recommendations to the arc that would bring the watchtower up to date with "best practices and procedures" (b) have failed to submit a proposal for victim restitution (c) have failed to secure funding for a redress scheme and (d) have completely dismissed all the arcs' findings - what's the royal commission's next course of action?.

  i see two possibilities:.

  ) negotiate a settlement with the watchtower.

  Actually, just as a side note. Whan I watched the now infamous black bread broadcast of feb 2016. I couldn't help but notice that Australia seemed to feature fairly often on the big blue hypnoglobe in the background during the bread demo. But, maybe just a coincidence.

  the february broadcast has an item which in my view exploits a young very poorly girl.

  it seems that the girl is quite a character and her faith seems to be strong.

  she was baptised as a pre-pubescent innocent girl and is purported to be a regular pioneer at age 13. now read what her local paper says :-.

  Great points Zeb. I can see them packing up and selling off the branch, maybe have some sort of office for any business that cannot be handled online. They may make some superficial adjustments to the way things are done in Oz, but they will string out the commission as long as they can. Their version of " you want us to pay up then make us."

  tonight my dl was posted by hand by my husband (a worldly guy).

  i had the luxury of being at work distracted whilst he posted it.

  i have been baptised for just over 2 years and studied since 2010. i couldn't take it anymore, not just the zealous dislike/disgust for 'people in the world' (this includes my husband and 99% of my family btw) but the obvious.... the investigations into child sexual abuse.

  The cases I know of where this happened the offenders turned out to be.

  In one incident it was a return visit.

  In one incident it was someone who had studied on and off for years.

  And in another it was the unbelieving boyfriend of local woman who was studying.

  There was another one as well which involved graffiti turned out to be ex-husband of a sister who lost access to his kids.
