Movies JW style

what if wts took over the film industry, what kind of movies would we see (using previous movie titles.
) it was entertaining and i knew you guys could come up with some good ones.. ted jarez and the chamber of secrets.

JWs in Movies/TV
by Tyler_Durden injust watched an episode of 80s sitcom 'married with children', al & peggy get mixed up with a gay couple, fairly funny stuff!
anyhoo.... there's a neat scene were al, answering his front door, says to himself 'i hope it's a jw cuz i feel like a nice deep chat' (or something like that) & he picks up a baseball bat as he opens the door!!
like i said, fairly funny stuff, but it got me thinking: what other tv shows/movies feature scenes with (or ref to) jws???

~~~ i remember the movie 'perfect world'....and that great Saturday Night Live thingy about the ''Land Shark""~~the shark would trick people into opening the door to eat them...this one lady was ready with a big hammer thing and when some guy said JW's at the door she went to bust the shark but instead hit this guy ( garret morris i think) and the WT and AW went flyin'all over.....Happy Holidays too all...~~~

Death's face depicted in Society's artwork
by Jourles inthere was a topic a while back which talked about satan being depicted in the society's artwork.
i made mention that while on a tour at the farm in pine bush/walkill, i took a picture of a painting showing the four horsemen of the apocalypse with death following behind.
you can just make out the face in the picture.

XMas illuminations on your house
by Simon ini guess this is more of a usa thing, but in the spirit of international friendship we have decided to put some effort into things this year.
he he ... this house is round the corner from angharad's parents and he raises money for charity.
the picture doesn't really do justice to just how bright it is (you can see the glow before you get there).

i have been in this apartment for years that have my front windows covered with every holiday decoration especially christmas lights, because the landlord does up the front of the building so nice, i always noted the disapproved faces of my jw in-laws and the stupids remarks at it, i never cared either way but it was always so funny to see someone get so pissed off by a silly little thing.

Ex Elders Aren't The Only Jerks With Attitudes
by minimus ina lot of people that weren't elders show why they became witnesses in the first place.
they complain about the attitude of former elders but they never look at their own crappy attitudes.
maybe, it's because being a jerk has nothing necessarily to do with being a former elder.

i remember hearing about this real tough elder that was coming to the cong. , he was an uneducated guy that ended up bullying me all around, i'm sure now i lost respect for the elders as a group because of him., maybe i should thank him, he opened my eyes in a way.....

i believed everything said from the podium as bible truth...what a mind blowing letdown to hear the same elders explain it wasn't , or shouldn't have been said or thought....at 20yrs old it was the only thing that mattered....looking back it was a true lesson in life...

by els ini keep reading references to jws drawing the blinds, etc during the attacks on 9-11. does anyone have concrete accounts of such behavior?

that morning like zillions of people were walking over the brooklyn bridge, lots were covered with dust and cryin' and panicing,a lot of people shut there doors or were selling bottled water and cellphone calls or cab rides for a fortune,newyork can be weird like that, i work right there for a city agency and we helped anybody we could, and i know people from the wathtower buildings were doing the same.
