why is it when so many of you have left the "oh so illusrious" organization, want to have possesion of their publications?
unless, as far as i can figure, you are still somewhat enthralled, dazzed and confused with what they have to say.
when i left, so did all their propaganda.
I tossed all my books when I left. I did keep the new world translation to compare it with other bibles. I also, have the cd's for reference in case someone questions me ,allowing me to do the research. I like getting them with things out of their own publications.

went to the meeting (first time in a month) last night.
they had this skit on telephone witnessing.
the bro and sis, were dressed up, but hey it was a meeting.
Five people but only one phone line. The others would gossip about others in the congregation, have fabulous food, laugh when someone was talking to a householder, watch TV....
So did they count time while they were doing these other things?

in my old congregation there were a number of sisters absolutely obssesed by the demons.
if a dog barked too loudly when approaching a door on the field service "it is demonized' -- if a refridgerator broke when the co was due round for a meal or after the service "it was demonized".
Some believed that buying second hand clothing was inviting the demons into your house
If that's the case then lots of them have little demons running around their house. When it is assembly time or convention time you would definetly see them in thrift stores and the good will, at least here in my area anyway.
