I consider myself chrisitan. I have attended different churches over the past 5 years of disassociating myself from the jw's and it was nice. I am not a member of any church or do I plan to be anytime soon. I am happy with myself and just trying to be the best person I can be.

Christmas???
by Legolas indoes anyone celebrate christmas?
that use to be my favorite time of year, right now i can't wait to celebrate it again unless i change my mind...lol...but right now it's on!!
this only being able to post two post isn't good for me ...............i had to waste one earlier on tec support...tec supports shouln't count as one!!

I always celebrated Christmas until I became a JW. My husband never a JW, put up with our family not celebrating Christmas. Well, this year will be our 5th year of celebrating Christmas as a family. Our first Christmas, our daughter was 14 and our son was 6. They look forward to Christmas every year.

How Brainwashed Were You??
by Legolas ini will give you an example of what i mean.....two 'sisters' were gone away for the day and they were doing some shopping...there was a used clothing store and it was called something like "the church corner"...keep in mind it was not an old church, nothing religious about it at all.
but one of the 'sisters woulgn't go into it because of the name!!!
so do any of you have stories like that??

End of a Friendship
