I sure wish my son's school had uniforms. There just seems to be too much focus on clothing and not enough on education. Those who can't afford name brand clothes always seem to get teased. If everyone looked alike in school maybe the kids would focus more on their school work and less on going to a fashion show.

Most likely I will be found wherever they have shoes. I love shoes!!!Now I don't have to think, gee, would these be comfortable for field service? I have some awesome shoes filling my closet now. I buy flat shoes now because I want to, not because I have to.

An Invitation to a Wedding

yesterday, i received in the mail a wedding invitation...well not actually a wedding invitation, it was more of a re-newal of vows invitation.

with me so far...ok, i'm fine with that.

i even visited her church a few years ago, it was nice, but i don't want to join a church.

just a little bit about myself before you answer:

i was raised a jehovah's witness by my mother, who got "the truth" by studying with inlaws who were already members.

my father had been disfellewshipped for joining the army a few years before i was born, and has nevered returned to the organization.

Well, considering that my husband was never a JW, he was a happy camper when I decided to leave. We went through so many problems and nearly got divorced. He later became supportive of me while I was a JW, when he realized that he couldn't change my mind about being in the organization but there was always tension between and we were never fully complete because of our differences. We now have the best marriage ever!! We are totally connected in every way and it feels so good. JW's have the nerve to say that they don't BREAK UP marriages and families, what a crock of ___ ___ ___ ___ ! ( You fill in the blanks ) hint: It rhymes with mit.

Fascinating Artwork

a few weeks ago as i was rolling along one of ottawa's bike paths along the ottawa river, i came across some fascinating artwork built in the shallows of the river at remic rapids.

john felice ceprano is an artist who uses the natural rocks to form stunning balancing artwork.

all peices of work are found locally and are never altered in any way.

I'm depressed

i post now and then.

i am depressed because i have been in pain for over a month.

my left shoulder is just killing me.

Kwin, OMG! I can't imagine being in pain as long as you have. It has been a month for me and it is driving me bonkers! You feel better soon!

Evanescence, How did you know I love cats? That was hysterical, I laughed so much...didn't help the shoulder much but it sure made me feel happy. Thanks!
