Yes I think everyone does and you've done just what I do, reach out to friends for a shoulder to lean on (even cry on from time to time) and to vent it seems to always help us feel a little better. Hope your day gets better tink and tomorrow is an even better day for you, hang in there girl

venting alert.....did you ever have one of those days....
by tinkerbell82 in......when you wake up sad and annoyed, and it just goes downhill fast from there?
when all of your clothes make you feel fat, and you want breakfast but you've rummaged through the fridge and all of the cupboards and nothing sounds good, and your cheerful s/o is just making you feel worse with their attempts to make you feel better, and you can't find your favorite book anywhere, and the littlest things get on your nerves for no reason, which just makes you even more irritable because you know you're being childish but can't help it, and everything just plain sucks?
any suggestions for the terminally cranky?.

Why There Will Never Be A Perfect World.
by Englishman ingeorge burns explained it so well in oh god!
part 2.. "you can't have a top without a bottom".. "you can't have sweet without sour".. "you can't have up without down".. "you get rid of sad and happy goes right out the door too".. so now we know why god doesn't want to make life perfect.
it's not natural!.

Ever get the feeling your just not "normal"?
by logansrun ineven when i was a dub i felt this way.
i mean, i would just stand there at gatherings and feel that i was in my own world -- that, somehow, everyone else was "in" and i was "out.
" i never felt this way at formal gatherings -- meetings, assemblies, etc -- only in most social settings.

Sure all the time no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I have NEVER fit in. I've always been a loner. Yes it eats at you from time to time when you open your eyes and loook around at the world and you wonder why can't I have friends and fit in. I figure I'm just to old now and everyone has their little group of friends.

I would like advice from the women on this forum
by Eric ini don't believe i've ever started a topic here before.. ladies, ever wanted to play "matchmaker" or "advice for the lovelorn"?
well, i've got a situation that has me going in circles.
it's something i'm also talking about with the realtime women friends in my life, and they've been just great, but there is also huge resource of fabulous women here on jwd that will know about that other intangible aspect of our x-jw involvement and how it affects people, relationships and families, that the women i know will never quite grasp.. it is not, however, something i choose to discuss here.

I too am a parent and know where you are coming from. It's a scarey world out there and I know the time draws nearer and nearer for my teen daughters to go out on their own into it and man am I scared! Why does it have to be this way?
