Weed anyone ?

let me make this very clear from the get go , i am neither for or against the use of marijuana .

but it has just occurred to me that many of my life long friends have either had periods in there life where they have or continue to smoke it .

what if anything has your experience with pot taught you either about yourself or someone you know , was it a positive or negative infuence .

Or did you only stick to the BIBLE? … HOW CAN YOU BE SUR THAT IS IT THE TRUTH … I mean don’t blame us AS HUMAN WE ARE ABLE TO THINK … GOD should be the first to know THAT. So WHAT’s WRONG in POINTING the INCONSISTANCIES of the BIBLE … Yes we know the good and the evil (at least) SORRY THEN FOR THE BIBLE

You may try to think without partiality at first (it's the only way to be sure about what you're thinking about) you may still stick to the bible ... but you may not ... whatever do it once do it twice and more : GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE ... cause your life as value and you may have ONLY ONE LIFE !

What a waste of money!

we went out to eat with my daughter and husband tonight and on the way back i counted the churches on the 16 mile streach of road home.

there were 18 churches that were on this one road.

can you imagine the money that goes to pay the preachers and buy the buildings?

One of the Anglican churches in our city had a fire. The city contributed $350,000 to help rebuild.
THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER 1/4 MILLION $$$$
BUT we can't afford a decent homeless shelter for women, or a skateboarding park for the teens.

SO UNFAIR ! How comes ... ?

What's the most hypocritical thing(s) you've ever seen a JW do?

up high on my list has to be when a jw co-worker named john fitzgerald tore into me one morning (when i was coming in late for work) for grabbing a quick piece of cake from the lunch room.

turns out, someone in this small little office had brought in the remainder of their birthday cake for folks at work to finish up eating.

john was older than i and a ministerial servant (ooh) and felt it his responsibility to keep me on the straight and narrow.

From lady lee : My husband (now ex-husband) elder (now ex-elder) who abused me and our 2 daughters would go out and give other people marital advice or counsel them on how to raise their children ...

That was I guess, the most obvious hypocrisy we had to face at almost every meeting ... IT SUCKS ! ... Also Men could do what ever then wanted to their wifes (she was always guilty for some reasons !!!)

My sister Anne one day said (at something like 14 years old), I would never marri a JW they are too "dumb" she made sure to be DF just to find her husband (at 29 and get married at 30) ... She have been lucky he was the first one, and didn't even try to convince him to become a JW ... You know what ? He did it by himself ... PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

you will be shocked to find out that many of them were simply taken from ancient egyptian and other stories of their gods. nothing original here.

can you give me more information about that ? PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE by the way have heard when I was JW that they were feeling the bible were telling the truth because lots of different cultures were talking about almost the same kind of story ... at that time I didn't think that actually it could either saying the inverse ...

I won't preach for any religion or book as far as I'm not sure of what I'm talking about and what the fruits of this religion or book ... IN DOING THAT we are as much RESPONSIBLE of THOSE who CREATED/WRITTEN THEM.

For now, I just need to get involved in associations who are really helping people (ALL OVER THE WORLD WHOEVER THEY ARE) ...

how many muslims and boudhists have suffured because of their believes (even by their own people). So NOW is Gods muslim, Bouddhit, Christian. And religions WARS just brought more hatred in this world.

About animals, it's reminds me something I’d like to share : an Item I’ve seen on TV one day about elephants.

You know that males and females don’t stay together … Females are taking care of their children (no matter who’s the mother they act like in a nursery) and they are lead by the oldest able female.

So one mother and her little elephant was lost, the mother have been killed, and his baby was in danger, he actually get prisoner in a big hole of mud. A herd of female (with their kids) found the baby on their way. They tried hard to get him out of the mud but they were taking risk in staying also in the mud so they couldn’t try to get in the hole to push him out. After a while they’ve got a meeting like they were wondering what they should do … they decided to try again … but failed again … had a new meeting … tried again and failed again … had a new meeting and decided to give up (I guess it was too tiring and they have to think about the other kids, also thinking that the baby was already too weak and that he be a problem for the whole herb) so they left the baby in the hole of mud.

After a while, a few hyenas was turning around the baby elephant, it began to cry, the herb heard the baby crying. And you know what ? Half of the herb (the others had to stay with the kids) turned back running to protect the baby from the hyenas (who ran away of course, just in hearing the noise, and trembling of a few elephants running force) and the best part of it is that they finally pushed him out in getting into the hole of mud taking all the risks weither or not they could fail.

I still got a stupid smile on my face when I remenber this
