Coolest little sister in the world
by IP_SEC inmy little sister colorado5591 is the coolest sister i could have asked for.
she came down for a visit and we went rock climbing, cave exploring, and fossil hunting.
we hiked an hour one way crossing rivers and braving the bush.

In Memory of Puternut
by Nosferatu inafter reading the news about puternut, i decided to compile some of his posts into one, so we can all share in his memory.
there are many ups and downs listed below, but i ended it off with a post he made to all of us who helped him during his difficult times.
puternut is starting his life over, because i had nothing left, and needed to move on.

Do we have the same mom? my goodness, this is something my mother would do.
I know how hurtful it is, i am so sorry that she is doing that to you.
I like Confession's idea, invite a few people to tell them how wrong they are.
Big hugs ((((unique1))))MP

This is a very difficult situation, and i am sorry that you are faced with such circumstances.
The fact is that she is YOUR child, and you need to make it clear to your parent's that you
are not happy about them discussing religion with her.
I had to do this with my parent's recently, it was SO hard to do, but boy.. did it feel good.
My son is only 4 years old, but they would read the bible to him, and tell him how holiday's
were bad. I made it clear that if they were to spend time with him, they were not to discuss
religion, as his parent's we were going to be the one's to teach him.
If i were you, i would be planning more activities on Sunday's.
And i agree with TallTexan, show her that she does not need the Org for salvation.
Good luck, i hope whatever you decide works out for the best for your family.

What do you think they'd do if I did this at the Memorial?
by jwfacts inthis year was going to be the first time in my life that i did not attend the memorial.
but i just thought of something that i would love to try out for a stir.
what do you think would happen if i skulled the entire glass of wine?

That's pretty funny.
I think they will stand there stunned, and not know what to do.
If you try it, set up some kind of video camera, you cant do something like that
and not get it on tape. -

Thank you, it is nice to acknowledge it without guilt. Plus, i get to live vicariously through him, and seeing it through a child's eye's is just amazing.

my mom tried to tell me yesterday that she will acknowledge the day her grandson was born, and call to tell him that she is very happy
about the day he was born as it is very special to her, however.. she will not participate in the pagan celebration we will be having for him
tonight. I just had to laugh at her, it is too ridiculous to even waste my time with.

My son was born.
Now for the first time, i get to have a birthday party for him, without feeling guilty about it.
Something very funny happend today too. I went to the bakery to get cupcakes for his class
party this morning, and the head baker there was an elder that i have known my whole life.
He does not usually work at this bakery, he was training another baker for a couple of weeks.
This elder was talking to me like old time's, probably completly forgetting that i am df'd still.
I mentioned that it was my son's birthday today, and that is why we were getting cupcakes, for
some reason it did not even phase him, either that or he has selective hearing.
I am sure that i will hear something from my parents later today.
Happy Birthday Joshua!!!!
