  Im not a smoker, and i dont allow people to smoke around my son.

  But, i think this sounds like they are taking away your freedom to choose.
  If the law cant keep the WTS from their people denying blood transfusion and killing themselves. Then how
  can they allow this man to fire these people for making the choice to continue to smoke, whether they are
  killing themselves or not. Its THEIR choice. Know what i mean. I hope i am explaining it right.
  I think i see a class action law suit coming about.

  the genesis account of angels 'materialising' and having sex with women always worried me as a witness.

  in all animals, man included, the sex drive is hormonal.

  I agree with Purza..

  When i was df'd it was the absolute worse thing in the world. I lost the relationships with all my friends and family, everyone and everything i ever knew in my whole life changed. Of course, years later now, my life is different. I have the elders lack of love and compassion to thank for me making my final exit, and now i dont even consider myself disfellowshipped anymore. I dont allow them to have that control over me, i am no longer associated with their organisation.

  To some it is the worst thing in the world, there have been people that have commited suicide over it, and to others they just dont care. So, it all depends where you are in your life.

  Not Too Bad A Cult.... In Comparison To Others. Let's Talk About Cults.

  i saw an episode of a day talk show the other day in which they interviewed these two women that were part of a polygamous cult in utah.

  the cult was referred to as 'the order'.. men married many young wives, and these were expected/forced to breed in large numbers.

  these women worked for the cult.

  Oh My Gosh JustTickeledPink, that is terrible, it turns my stomach.

  Anyhow, i suppose that their are groups out that here that are more extreme then others, it has always been that way and will always be that way. It seems like they are trying to out-do eachother with different ways of control.
  This doesnt make the wts less of cult, it just shows how much more sneaky and organised they can be. Harboring pedophiles is something i consider sneaky, they try and tip toe around the laws of the land, and that is something they are guilty of controlling.

  Just my 2 cents on the issue.

  American Idol - did I see a NWT?

  so i am watching american idol(yes i have no life) and one of the winners came out screaming and holding what looked like a nw translation - black cover.

  can anybody with a tivo confirm?

  it was like just before the horrible guy in the purple shirt came on.

  Yeah, thats the same one i found, thanks for posting it, i didnt know how to do it.

  I put it in Paint Shop Pro and tried to enlarge it, but i couldnt tell if it was or not. Sure looks like it to me.

  even when i was active with the cult i always bought the forbidden cookies....my mother-in-law a lifer in the borg, always forbid my wife to even take a bite of one, let alone purchase them!

  my wife works in a small doctors office everyday with two witness gals.

  gets real dicey at times with my wife being dissassociated.

  oh yeah, i remember having to turn down those cute little kids trying to sell their cookies in front of the grocery store, im such a sucker and did sometimes buy some, even though i got crap from my parents. Oh well, they are really good cookies, gonna stock up this year for sure.

  I didnt get to watch it, i got hooked on it the first 2 years. Anyhow, seeing as i dont have a life either, i checked out the pictures on American Idol's website and looked through the pictures. I FOUND HER, i think anyway. I cant zoom in enough to see the title of the book, but it sure looks like the old hardback version of the NWT. I dont know how to post the picture on here, so if someone wants i can email it, just pm me.

  Yes, a dub on american idol.. whats next!?!

  I was told the new order would come before my sisters and i ever got married and had children.

  I have been married 5 years and have a 2 year old.

  Go Figure!!!
