  Changed Wording in February 2017 WT Article

  the february 2017 wt had stated that the gb is "neither inspired nor infallible" and that it can make errors in doctrine.. the language of the online wt issue now says, “the governing body is neither inspired nor perfect.

  therefore, it can make mistakes when explaining the bible or directing the organization.”.

  why the change?

  So, they are not "perfect" nor "inspired" AND YET, every witness is guilted into following the GB as if THEY WERE the PERFECT JESUS??

  so it looks like now i'm a return visit.

  i don't have it in me to be mean to the j dubs when they drop by so i chat with them.

  on thanksgiving morning one of them dropped by (my wife previously asked them to stop coming by).

  Be careful. All your words will come back to bite you if you allow them to keep visiting.

  The day I allowed myself to simply ask "but WHY?" .....

  It was almost like a 2 year old who keeps asking questions...I simply asked questions in my mind about all the things I was told were facts all my life...

  Then, the house of cards just comes crashing down....

  I can still distinctly remember an elder who thought he was my mentor, saying to me "as gifts in men, we have the assignment to represent God in the congregations!"

  Yep, that self-glorifying attitude reminded me of Jesus words "they will have their reward in full"
