  Special Video tie-in this week in Australia? Saturday April1st. A GB Speaker?

  i have been told that there is to be a special talk linked via video hook up all around australia this saturday april 1st?

  a 3 hour program apparently?.

  someone said it was a governing body speaker?.

  My 2 cents worth would be the expected negative report to be delivered by the ARC has to how Jehovahs Witnesses respond to child sexual abuse .And how they are going to put a spin on it.

  "Cautious as serpents, Innocent as doves" ? How does this fit in with the moves against Russia??

  we know that jesus supposedly said at matthew 10:16.

  "be cautious as serpents, yet innocent as doves".. so , with all the hype going on about russia, and the "personal" letter writing campaign the gb is making all witnesses be a part of, this scripture came to mind.. surely this action is the very opposite of being "cautious"!?

  surely it is not being "innocent" as to world affairs and political activities?.

  So , with all the hype going on about Russia, and the "personal" letter writing campaign the GB is making all witnesses be a part of, this scripture came to mind.

  Surely this action is the very opposite of being "cautious"!? Surely it is not being "innocent" as to world affairs and political activities?

  Amazing how the religion we once thought was the truth, so easily allows the GB to override the words of the bible. It is almost as if they give more weight to the GB than Jesus or the bible?

  'Asking Questions' & JC's

  on another forum, a user posted that their partner is being hauled before a jc for asking questions and, that the jc will go ahead regardless if in attendance or not.. the post does not say what questions were being asked.

  another user responded with - possibly viewed as 'brazen conduct'.

  The Latest Trend in NW England: Homeschooling Your Children

  i dont know if this is becoming a national thing or even globally.

  but im hearing more and more people i knew from my jw days have taken their kids out of school to home school them instead.

  in my sisters case she's taken her 8yo and 6yo children out already and her 3yo wont ever start a school.

  Oh don't get me started on this topic!

  I actually started a thread about it a few years back, as it is a popular thing here in the region of Sydney we are in too!

  It seems to be almost a peer pressure thing amongst all the families who want to appear to be spiritual and righteous!

  I can name 5 local families doing it, and that in turn has made others who would never consider it, start to think that they too should go down that path!

  It is truely reprehensible to deprive children of the social growth and interaction that school provides!

  There will be a generation of emotionally stunted, self entitled, over righteous, judgemental 17 year olds (with 10 year old development levels) amongst witnesses. These children will be left floundering in the real world when they are adults!

  as would be expected we've seen a lot of the "persecution" scriptures bandied about recently in connection with the likely imminent ban on the org in russia.

  they like to claim that being targets of persecution they are seeing the fulfilment of those verses.

  but they conveniently ignore what the bible teaches about how christians should respond to said prophesied persecution.... for example, no one is referencing the above verse which talks of the apostles "joyfully accepting the plundering of their belongings.

  Nothing says "high control cult-like group" better than a prescribed direction by the leaders to write these letters!

  Sure, all witnesses will say they are doing it "of their own free will". BUT would they have decided to do this if the GB had not directed them to do so??

  Hmmm..think not!

  In fact, they would be fearful of being seen to be trying to be involved with political affairs!

  yes, i used that line when questioned by someone as to why we no longer attend.. it needs to be used calmly and without any arrogance.

  then this direct, yet simple comment can't help but make the person think!.

  The Governing Body appear on Video to help The Organization but does not show up for The children.

  with mark sanderson appearing recently on jw to ask all the witnesses for there help on the russia ban.

  it is a giant slap to the face of all the children and members who have been affected by this cult.

  as the royal commission two weeks ago asked or requested if one of the governing body dudes could appear or even be online feed to the commission, but of course they said heck no.. .
