Welcome.
Yes, those on the road to life are increasing!😜
hello every body!.
it's my thirst time here.
i'm verry glad to tell you my resignation as an elder in my local congregation.
Welcome.
Yes, those on the road to life are increasing!😜
had lunch with some friends during today's waste of time convention.
they spoke of the rumor floating around that the jws will move away from these big regional conventions and have them at assembly halls and tie them in to kingdom halls.. they seemed to believe it was a pretty reliable source.. i think it would be too good to be true but who knows?.
anyone else heard this rumor?.
In Australia that is already happening.
Rather than the annual large stadium conventions, they are doing 6 or more weekends in a row at the assembly halls and splitting the congregations up to attend...
absolutely beautiful!.

I particularly loved his commen about "getting things wrong" when he referenced past society teachings! ❤️
is there something going on in jaydub land that has brought this on?
hope so!.
Yes, I have noticed the influx too. It's great!
Ive also noticed quite a few forum members from the past who have started posting again after some time away. It's great to see familiar "faces" again.
the nephilim account in genesis is utterly ridiculous when you consider that angels are sex-less beings and would therefore lack sex-drive and romantic attraction.
think of how difficult it is for humans with a sex drive to be sexually attracted to animals.
now take away that sex drive and it becomes literally impossible.
The mysongenistic male focussed nature of the ancient times stands out in this story. - "Women were to be USED by males."
Why didn't some of the angels take on a female form and have sex with the males on earth??
hello, all you damn dirty apostates!
please, allow me to join this community of diseased minds.
i have been lurking here for over 2 years and tonight i decided it's time to come out of the shadows.
Welcome!
Sent you a PM.
Take control of your life. Play it cautiously with the elders, but remember the well used expression here on the forum:
"The only power they have over you is that which you allow"
a thought occurred to us today about how christians, including witnesses love to quote some lovely passage of the bible as proof of god's love, or the value of the bible.. but just because a small passage or sentence is quoted doesn't mean the whole book is to be valued.. for instance, there may be a nice sentence or comment expressed in the passage of mein kampf, but would that make the book or it's author worthy of quoting or following?
the entire book and its message needs to taken into consideration!
(obviously that author had genocidal tendencies and disturbing ideas).
Great thoughts and comments.
Thanks!
i know that other early dates are well documented leading up to 1975. it did seemed that the wts learned to stop setting dates, but i seem to recall talk about the 20th century will certainly be the last according to god's perfect timing.
i can't recall specifically where i heard such blatant rhetoric though.. anyone?
bueller?
Exactly what Bungi Bill said.
Originally that 1989 WT said "This work will be completed BEFORE the end of the 20th century"
Then the bound volume changed it to "This work will be completed in 'our day'"

So too with the bible. Although some passages may be inspirational, motivational or seemingly kind and loving, many other passages and parts of the book seem to indicate that the "author" has had a track record of genocidal and violent tendencies...AND such plans for the future too according to witnesses!
Thoughts?
