in the july jw broadcast in the section about the cart work worldwide did you notice how many old books magazines and single page tracts they had on the carts to give to the general public.
So that proves that it is NOT the substance of the information that brings people into the org...as the old material is now outdated.
It is an emotional attraction that brings people in...
So it wouldn't matter what the books or tracts say,in fact the pages could be blank, and people who are inclined would still come in....

the watchtower has held for many years that jesus died on a stake and held strongly to this teaching.
w 1951 3/15 the above agrees with the new world translation of the christian greek scriptures in its appendix, page 769, in saying that the instrument upon which jesus was nailed was a stake without a crossbeam, and not the religiously represented “cross”; and that the greek word used for that instrument in ancient time meant a “stake” and not the conventional religious cross.
they are no longer certain on this point.

Not some book that is supposedly his word ; because that word shows him to be a disturbingly messed up deity.
Also, don't point to "the world around us" ; as there are numerous evidences to prove there was no "intelligent design" behind that.
So, again, show us the proof... without such proof, the hypothesis that "atheists will turn to God on their death bed" makes no sense!

spent all day yesterday writing two episodes and recording and editing one podcast of this jw life.
so, episode 4 of my podcast is now out.
i took a minute away from my story (though it is still laced throughout this one) to lay out what goes on inside of a kingdom hall, who the players are, what they believe, and hopefully set a foundation that will help explain my story as one.
