  this poor girl was baptized at 9yo.

  .

  she isnt old enough to buy alcohol, to vote, to decide her own medical treatment, to buy a pet, to travel alone... yet she was deemed old enough to dedicate her life to a religion that will cut her off from her family if she ever leaves.. here she is applauded for shunning her own sister who tried to keep in contact with her after waking up.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yzgnfda8ki.

  my wife had settled into a routine of waking up at 6am each day, cleaning (so no chance of a lie in for me or our daughter with the vacuum cleaner going), eating very little, picking the skin off her lips while she sits there in a trance obsessing over things that are out of our control and dont matter anyway.

  she never did return to work.

  The way you described being "sprung" by a nosey person prying through your computer was just like my account! The call from the elder - just the same! "Does "stuckinarut2 mean anything to you?"

  Seriously messed up stuff! So illegal and inappropriate! (BUT the proof of this being a cult!)

  i was recently told this by a jw family member when trying to get through to them.

  does this quote indicate that maybe such ones have considered that the jw's may not have the truth after all?

  or is that just my wishful thinking?
