Hey Emeth, I find it strange that you joined this "largest online community of apostates" yourself 6 months ago!
Why did you do so?
Were you curious or doubtful yourself, or did you think you could save some apostates?
why are jws so afraid of apostates?
their view of apostates seems to be out of the realm of the ordinary, the natural.
its as if the words of apostates are supernatual or spiritistic as if apostates are some kind of jedi knights who can slightly wave their hands or twitch their eyes and bring one under a spell.

I agree 'Hey There'
Yes, I bet this 'sister' will be spoken to now...
Good, maybe she will get discouraged and see the stupidity of the organization she is slaving for!
Well, she will see it when she gets sick one day and has to go home to her home country without any money, without a job, without health, without any support....and is told..."you are on your own now...trust in God".....

Just because so many are baptised doenst make it the truth!
If you apply that rule, then the catholics and muslims must have the truth, as they have billions of baptised followers!
Figures provided by the society about growth have to be looked at in context of the general population, then the insignificance of the numbers is apparant!
in an effort to prove that jesus' marriage is after armagedon, the wt study for this week said that the visions in revelation are not in chronological order.
rev 18- fall of babylon the great-.
rev 19 starts with "after this" then it speaks on armagedon-.
dont try and understand it...cos as soon as you do, it will change and you will have to relearn the new / current truth......
just nod along and say "isn't jahs organization wonderful, as they help us mere mortals understand the truth so clearly!''
a few official instructions jw delegates are being told leading up to the international conventions.
congregation secretaries are holding conference calls and then relating the instructions to the congregation.. atlanta - do not drive to convention, parking will not be available.
take public transportation; attendants will be on all public transit and able to assist.. dallas - attendants will be on site at all hotels to make sure delegates leave the hotel at their assigned times and take their assigned route.
IF THEY KNOW IT IS AN UNSAFE AREA, WITH THE CHANCE OF BEING MUGGED, WHY ENCOURAGE BROS AND SIS TO BE IN SUCH AN ENVIRONMENT???
I thought proverbs said " shrewd is the one that has seen the calamity and proceeds to conceal himself!"
So if someone gets mugged or killed we can all rejoice and say that they died faithful in going to the convention?
weird!.

I thought the society said that individuals were not to set up their own websites etc!
I suppose its ok if you are a missionary?
Once again, do as we say, not as we do....
i was thinking about the thousands upon thousands of posts that have been made on this site over the years and all the valuable information contained in them.
i was also thinking about all the years that this site was in existence before i stumbled upon it.. i wondered if from now on, if each person making a post on this site, put the words jw.org at the end of the title of their post or somewhere in the body of their post itself, if it would somehow drive those who are looking for jw.org to this site instead?.
for example "what's up with those new literature carts ?
I will share in anything that brings people to this and to jwfacts site!
hey all,.
i need help finding articles please!.
discussions have arisen where a bro has firmly stated that "the society has never stated 1975" , and that "we" never said the system would be over in a specific time.. i know there was also the article re education in 1968 ish?.
I forgot about Paul's (jwfacts) comprehensive list in my rush!!
thankyou!
There was also another article that showed that changes were made in the content of an article in reprints and online compared to the original wt or aw?
jwfacts had on example, but I know there was another longer article....?

When asked where I read it, I said "I found it in the older concordance and bound volumes....
