in another thread, one of our members made up a great satirical letter that sounded like something the society would write about how to count time now.... it included counting all time spent in preparation etc.... (can someone please post the link here??).
i used the letter, edited it a little, and copied it on to official letterhead for a stir..... it is going on the notice board when i can casually slip in the hall one day..... .
ahhh...being a stirrer....such fun.....
So, I have made up a fake letter, but I put it on the branch office letterhead "watchtower Society...etc"
I would rather use the new "Governing Body" letterhead as seen on the recent letter re appointments etc...
Has anyone got that letter please so that I can use the letterhead?

Also, wasnt there a quote by Bro Russell in the very first WT that said something like: "we will never beg, nor petition etc for money...the lord will provide...and if he doesnt then we know its time to stop printing etc..."

besides the bible, songbook, kingdom ministry, and draw close to jehovah book, are there any other books i need in order to attend the tuesday/wensday/thursday night meeting.
do they still use a book for the theocratic ministry school and is it the same one from 7+ years ago?.

Such a true summary!
TRUE "Biblical" spirituality has NOTHING to do with appointments in the org!
It is all about appearances!
I know of so many (including myself at times many years ago) that have carried on doing so called "bad" things, while still getting various 'appointments' of service in abundance!
so i have been told that all kingdom halls are to have a large jw.org sign placed prominently out the front..... can anyone confirm this?.
I will post a pic (if I can work out how) as soon as ours is installed...

so now we have to count all tracts / leaflets / meeting invitations etc as placements on the monthly report slip???.
is this just another method of control or accountability!
I just write "lots...can't remember..." In thsee booklet section of the report.....
