  how many of you know about this san diego mansion?

  i just found out about it recently.

  apparently it was built for old testament faithful men to live in upon resurrection in 1925 such as abraham, moses etc.

  Why cant Judicial Committees be taped?

  i have never understood this.

  was it because of legal reasons?

  i cant think of any other reason why it wouldn't be allowed, but i know the elders ask you repeatedly that you are not taping.

  As blondie pointed out, the bible history shows that all "judicial" meetings were held in public in the city gates so that all witnesses could be present!

  That served as a restraint for inappropriate conduct, and a witness so that there could never be any doubt as to what occurred!

  But, why would the society allow bible precedence to dictate current procedures!

  Letter about changes in book 100 year kingdom

  yesterday a letter was read in our congregation.

  it said that there have been doctrinal changes in many chapters of the book 'god's kingdom rules' so everyone but especially the conductor must be sure to use the latest update of the book.. this book is only ...how old?

  yes my holy anionted mom who has cancer is concerned that the loving god jehovah may ask her in heaven to destroy here non believer family including her 5 year old grandchild during armagedon....how messed up are these crazy people!!?

  I agree with nicolaou's comment above.

  When I was railroaded into a sham of a meeting behind locked doors in the back room, I objected and said "I'd like to bring someone else in please"

  When they denied that, I simply said "well, you won't mind me recording this then" as I started my smartphone app.

  They told me I couldn't record it, and I simply replied "well, that's inappropriate for you to dictate. I will record it, and I trust that it will serve to put all of us on notice to behave in a respectful manner"

  The circuit overseer in the room said "I don't give you permission to record it!"

  To which I said "well, you have dragged me in here under false pretenses, and have acted like bullies...so I WILL be recording it. It's up to you whether you wish to proceed or not"
