  People Asking Me To Help Them Leave

  i dont know if it's due to the last convention, the recent broadcasts, the internet or just plain fatigue - but since the convention i've had a few people contact me via facebook messenger asking how i am then cutting to the chase asking me what it's like "on the outside" or "how did you adjust after leaving?

  " and asking me how they can leave the wt but keep their families.. my reply is always the same, i show real genuine interest and concern and listen to their situation.

  then i suggest a fade, how to fade, to ignore or reject elders visits, to not talk about their doubts to active jws under any circumstances and finally point them to this site.

  Great work PE!!

  It shows that you are known to be kind and approachable. Keep up that wonderful and supportive nature you have.

  Yes, more and more are awakening I am sure! in our little part of the world, there have been a few also wake up recently, and it kind of just comes up in conversation...then they POUR out their hearts about these issues.

  We all need to be there for them. To be kind and supportive, without overwhelming them with lots of topics or issues.

  If we maintain our dignity, poise and grace, they will see that "apostates" are NOT crazy, mentally diseased people - rather we are loving and caring!

  have we heard of the sin of omission?.

  it refers to a situation where someone deliberately withholds some relevant or pertinent information from an investigation or enquiry.. in a criminal situation someone may purposely neglect to mention he was present, or involved in something.

  it may lead the other person to a conclusion that is not accurate...and yet the person under investigation never actually lied.. now think of a jw "judicial committee" .

  How many faithful old JW`s are now living in Christendoms retirement homes not being cared for by the religion they gave their life for.

  it must be pointed out in favour of christendoms religions that they do not discriminate against people regarding their religious beliefs.

  many old age jehovah`s witnesses are residents of christendoms age care homes.. isn`t this a conunudrum ?

  they, jw`s condemn christendom as part of the world empire of false religion and they cast off their old faithful members to their enemy christendom , to look after them without lifting a finger themselves.. in the meantime they are raking in millions of dollars $$$$ in selling off real estate properties in new york and elsewhere around the world.

  Yes, the scripture at revelation rings out "get out from amongst her my people, and quit touching the unclean thing" - oh except in cases of need when the "unclean thing" runs a nursing home that is now depended on....

  Have we heard of the Sin of Omission?

  In a criminal situation someone may purposely neglect to mention he was present, or involved in something. It may lead the other person to a conclusion that is not accurate...and YET the person under investigation never ACTUALLY lied.

  Now think of a JW "Judicial Committee" . If a Witness is found guilty of, or suspected of the Sin of Omission, they may be Disfellowshipped or counselled severely with penalties imposed.

  So, HOW IS IT, that the Society / GB are themselves guilty of the Sin of Omission? They have deliberately withheld pertinent information to the flock about the society history, scandals, and inaccuracies. They deliberately white-wash information about the Child Abuse issues happening worldwide, and the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS being spent on these sad situations.

  They purposefully present broadcasts to skew the facts and distort the average JW opinions and understandings of things occurring.

  So, for an organisation that proudly proclaims themselves as "The Truth", one of their biggest sins is the Sin of Omission!

  james askd to be dissociate , from all the ex -jws groups in the world.we know we cannot talk to him, or eat with him.

  or have any spiritual connection with him.please report this to all ex jws, groups, congregations.. what is actually the difference of james choosing to dissociate or desfellowship.

  ?nothing he did cut his connection with ex jesus christ, so we cannot talk to him.. your brother -- edward.

  from facebook:just saw my jw mother after not seeing her for more than 2 years.

  when i do see her, it is brief, she never asks about my life, doesn't ask about my 4 children her grandchildren, doesn't ask about my grandchildren...her great grandchildren, she doesn't ask about my other 2 brothers that she is also alienated from, she doesn't ask about my brothers family.

  she doesn't talk about the jw/org either.

  found this little gem when going through the daily texts.... so let me get this straight.... god knows your suffering really badly and wants to help.

  he knows you feel like you're at your limit, but he also knows that you are not really - that you can handle some more suffering.

  so instead of helping, he "patiently" waits till you are at your absolute limit, and only then does he help!?.

  Great thread!

  Yes, lets illustrate it this way.

  If your young child has severed his arm and it is hanging by a thread, do we sit and wait at home while he writhes in pain, just to see how long he can endure it. To see how he can build character?

  Or do we immediately, with the greatest of urgency get him medical care, and ease the pain and repair the damage?

  Jehovah likes to see how long people can endure it. Then he wants PRAISE for himself too.

  And remember that everyday thousands of new babies are born...all of which need to live a life that will be full of pain. And Jehovah is cool with that.

  How To Fade Away Cleanly?

  this is my first post and hopefully i can get some advice and input.

  i have been actively involved with the organization for a little over 10 years now.

  i began studying in high school, got baptized and my family fortunately did not.

  Welcome to our wonderful community forum!

  As you fade, ensure that you maintain your dignity, poise and grace.

  Be the same guy as you have always been. Don't play into the cliche of what an inactive person becomes.

  Be happy, be warm and friendly. But do not live under the illusion that all your "friends" will retain the same warmth toward you, or be in touch with you as much. As you fade out of their witness circle, you will be slowly ignored, then forgotten. Then the rumours will start that will malign your name and character.

  I don't say any of those things to discourage you or to be harsh. But being aware of the reality will equip you to handle the inevitable.

  Most of all as it has been well said here on the forum : THE BEST REVENGE (or answer) IS TO LIVE A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL LIFE.
