  Could Somebody PLEASE Help Me?

  i have been wanting to send a personal message to someone on this board and for the life of me i can't figure it out.

  can somebody please give me the instructions as to how to do this?.

  this took a lot of courage to ask, as i can usually navigate the computer, but at the same time i am not a computer goddess!!!.

  i just wanted to let you know how much i have enjoyed reading your posts.

  i am not and have never been a jw, but my husband and i both have a lot of family who are.

  my mother was sucked into it in 1999. i have a question, is it true that jws are forbidden to set foot in any church other than the kingdom hall?

  My father passed away....

  he was 81 and in semi-poor health.

  i have been raised in the truth and published for 36 years...(yes, i have been very timid about posting...because i am new and because i feel i must have something of value to contribute).. since feb. i have seriously been reconsidering this org.

  JW’s are not brain damaged, but heart damaged!

  ive been trying to tell my kids to be patient with the jws that they knew and with family that still are jws.

  especially when the shunning is in full force.

  i was excusing it as brain damaged because we couldnt reason with them or get through the mental block they have.

  emotional blackmail is a form of controlling one person to gets ones needs met.

  a blackmailer may use direct or indirect threats against us to get what they want regardless of our opinions or feelings.

  the one great threat is: if you dont behave the way i want you to, i will make your life miserable.
