Did you bring binoculars to assemblies or conventions?
by codeblue inwasn't it funny how many people brought binoculars to these conventions and only used them to check out sister wealthy's new outfit or that really cute guy that you had been eyeing in the corridor during breaktime?.
of course...we told everyone it was to see the "speaker"...(riiiiiiiiiiight!).

Our Daughter walks on her toes
by doodle-v inour daughter is six, and walks on her tippie toes.
we always find ourselves saying "walk on your feet!
i worry that this is going to ruin her ankles or her feet as she get older but we arent sure how to get her to stop.

Doodle, now don't laugh, but I started doing that when I was a little girl...cause I was always so little!!!
I find myself still doing it...I am only 5 feet tall...
Mr. CB thought it quite amusing when he first saw me doing it...oh well...
No harm for me..I have very athletic, nice shaped legs...so if that is any consolation for your daughter's future leg look, I wouldn't worry...lol

I was never counseled for my attitude...
I made the proud announcement that some of the mags read so well, that I could read them cover to cover in 20 minutes...(I read very fast and was an A student in school). I was knocked down rather quick after that announcement, I was told that if I read them that fast I didn't understand what I was reading...GEEZ...You think they would be proud we actually read the stuff!!!

I've arrived here seemingly by providence...heh heh.
by boa inits my first post and i don't really know where to start, there been so much on my mind.
i've been reading threads on this site like crazy and obtained a copy of coc from the library yesterday.
i stayed up until 4am reading it, and i'm impressed with the way it was written - its just like reading a w only the subject matter is a little different hehe.. i'll break myself in gently with this site over time but basically a few things about me are: born in a jw family, baptized as a young teen, 1 yr aux pio, several yrs as reg pio, 1 year as 'special' full time pio at bethel.

I have spent a lot of my life as a Jw...was raised one and was a pub for 35 years...Dateline was a huge turning point for me...about the pedophile issue....although it took me till last June to reach other conclusions...

I enjoy my SLR. Mr. CB bought me a Nikon 995 digital...which took me a while to convince myself to use it, mainly because I felt like it was "cheating"...I have a hp photosmart printer with photoshop that I also enjoy to enhance some photos...I enjoy being able to print the photos I want as well.
Still, there is nothing like an SLR...no cheating, real skill involved!!!
I have photographed 2 weddings for friends. The first wedding I shot was a favor for the mother of the bride, she enjoyed my photo albums of all my trips and places where I have lived. The groom's mother got a professional photographer....she got quite upset because she paid big bucks and my prints turned out better!!!

Rumors of Barbie and Ken's breakup are greatly exaggerated. They have been seen recently vacationing in Martinique, in the Carribean. They seemed happy without all the fanfare.
I smell a media manipulation to further their careers. This seems to happen to all stars after they reach 45!!! lol
