  Sad news from Maui

  we went to our favorite beach, met up with some of our local friends.

  we don't have much in the way of details - but heard some devasting news that ari (well known to seattle area exjw's and i am sure by many on the board) killed himself sometime over last weekend.

  he was so excited about moving to maui, and starting a new life here.

  Puternut and Octavia stayed with us before they moved to Maui........

  He visited us before in May. He was a friend of ours that we will truly miss.

  We feel for his pain and how it ended his life. We hope he is at peace now.

  i never thought i would do one of those infamous goodbye i cant take this board anymore posts where the person shows up again a week later and looks like an idiot.

  when i had enough of this board and needed a little break i would just quietly leave for a few months and hopefully nobody noticed.

  that is not the case this time.

  Makena: It is a totally harsh religion......WE feel so bad for the pain that you and Sabine have went thru. It is horrendous indeed. WE feel so bad that Ary had to go to the depths to free himself because of a painful, hateful,unloving religion.

  Remember that NOdenial and I and care greatly about you and think about you during this painful time. NOBODY should have to go thru this pain.

  Just got off the phone with Sabine........I am besides myself....so is NOdenial.......

  Last I heard from him was 2 weeks ago on MSN and he was happy and in "love"......

  I feel so bad for him......NOdenial and I will miss him.

  hope you are all well.. if you have been following the soap-opera of my life and the letter i wrote my dad then you may be interested in the latest.. my dad has been here visiting and we had a good long talk yesterday about my letter and what has brought me to the decision to leave the org.

  he listened to everything i had to say and agreed with everything i had to say.

  his own doubts arose when he became an elder and got a clearer picture of the abusive tactics that are used on the sheep.

  After seeing all the publicity on the movie...........I would LOVE to see it...

  Oprah had all the actors and actresses on this week.........I think it would be worth seeing.
