I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice

i popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.

it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.

here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

If someone brought the subject of a Royal Commission investigation in the press, it would have made me look it up to prove whether it was true.... Brian may just do that to try to prove he is right...

If anyone spproached me aggressively or angerly, it would make me defensive and I would not hear their points. Therefore, I suggest alway approaching others respectfully but with great questions....in a way that you really want answers. i love Angus Stewart's way of questioning....leads them to first expose their felings and lack of knowledge....then he goes for the quick hard questions they cannot hide from.

i actually started clapping at that point, as his honour explained to the wt type creep sycophantic slithery lawyer that........" i understand that we all have issues to face in life and .....that is a part of life...........however it has become obvious that this man ....is in such a position to assist with this investigation.....".

it boils down to the fact that stewart outright accused the latest witness of misleading the royal commission and this lead to some document searches which led his honour to conclude that they had been protecting mr jackson.

this was a warm and fluffy moment folks.................brilliant stuff!!!!!

Yes,caught it. I'm hooked. Taking notes also on how they are attcking practices regarding women. I was hoping they were going to bring out the Samuel Herd clip saying women's brains are smaller and thus not equipped for leadership,,,.or to that effect.

Interesting that they appear not to trust that this trip is just about Jackson's father...asking for proof of father's condition. They seemed very suspicious; like he is using excuse to monitor and direct from sidelines.

i also love how the judge ordered the JW attorney to get a draft of new policies/ practices, as discussed, to them no later than two weeks from today.

Sounds like the JW case will be extended beyond two weeks....hopefully we will all get to see a GB on the stand, finally.

firstly, thank you to anyone who is in support of this rc.

no one has shown anything but great interest and empathy for those who were abused.. i don't know who this simonsays character is though and i find him to be very rude and ignorant.

it takes all kinds to make the world go round i suppose.. today i was contacted by a staff member of the royal commission.

First of all, I congratulate you on taking this progressive stand for yourself and for others. I do wonder that you mentioned others..... Are others from your area also coming forward? Are you arranging this or also know these victims or is the Commission putting this together?

I feel emboldened by your stand. At the same time, I am sorry you have suffered to be in this position. Perhaps you can get assistance in pursuing financial reco urse. Might not be a bad idea and you may be able to find strngth to pursue it with support.

Yes, thought good point Angus asked if specifically the archaic two-witness rule could be changed... Do they refuse to budge on what is clearly illogical, harmful rule? They need to find a chink so the can work at making a bigger whole through the cloud of obfuscation and stubborn short-sitedness.

Going to a bad place when i die

i've thought and said too much to ever gain jehovahs forgiveness and love if i want to be a christian again.

i made a topic on my unforgivable sin and blaspemy of the holy spirit.. i feel saddness everyday having no relationship with god, no religion and fear of the afterlife.

even when i was kid i feared death and the end of the world.

Breathe deep. Parent yourself....prepare good meals, keep clean, get exercise, seek happy association - charity work or Meetup groups...

Remember, God never forgets the good that you have done. You are allowed to take time to heal. Write out your feelings. Read self help books and positive, motivating stories.

I have been in some dark places since fading but am feeling so much better a year later. Yiur efforts to help yourself will be rewarded I am certain.

Remember, no one really knows what happens when we die. If we take Proverbs, it will be like a deep sleep....if you take JW route, all will be resurrected, even unrighteous.

Be the best you and try to keep it positive. Try to think of 3 things you are thankful for everyday when you wake up. Write them down.

Work on your vision for your future. Where do you want to be 3 years from now...5? How do you want your life to improve? Start walking toward the vision now. That is what I am doing while coming here to help me with moments of anger, angst and curiosity.

Thank you so much Lee Elder for link. I've totally been going through this overlast 12 months. So thankful for progress made.

JW Broadcasting is dying.

once a month about 15 to 20 elderly jw publishers would meet at the kingdom hall and one elder was assigned to set up the system so they could view jw broadcasting.

these publishers were long time pioneers, former elders, and long time publishers who know nothing about computers or the internet.

they are the last batch of those expecting the generation that saw 1914 or understood it--- to not die off.

Tell the pioneers to provide for themsleves....pack a light lunch or potluck it. Carry their own weight.

i may go to some outdoor theatre with my daughter who's home from uni; with a picnic and a bottle of wine.
