I've enjoyed writing in the past as a reflective, creative practice and outlet for my humor. Haven't done much in the last couple of years for pleasure, but maybe someday I'll pick it up again.

I was never the same after reading CoC for the first time. It was a true "pull back the curtain" moment for me.
i just wanted to get a feel for how many here have awakened to ttatt but are still carrying on some jw activities to pacify them and keep the peace.
also trying to hear from those who have left, but whose spouse has stayed in the wt and in the marriage.. for me it comes down to my own mental anguish.
i am mentally tortured by attending the meetings, yet i feel compelled to because my wife would kill me with her personality if i had her drag 2 small girls by herself there.
Also trying to hear from those who have left, but whose spouse has stayed in the WT and in the marriage.
*raises hand*
Wow, nugget. How creatively inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

heard from a reliable source that this was part of friday's program.
they even interviewed a "former gay man" who "kicked the gay habit".. evidently kicking the "gay habit" is difficult, not unlike quitting smoking or avoiding sugary snacks.
the persons who related this to me found the whole thing to be laughable at best, but honestly seemed quite disturbed by it (which is good!
STUCKINARUT- Yes. The terms "kicking the gay habit" and "gay habit" were actually used (apparently more than once)
perhaps the best known of the celebrity jws and certainly the most controversial with the allegations that followed him to his death.. he was a good song writer and had the best in the music industry at his side.
the incredible quincy jones guided the "thriller" and "bad" albums to phenominal world wide sales.. i knew jws who were in the same kh with him and his mother.
the stories and gossip were fodder in the los angeles area.
RIP to this inspiringly huge creative force that was ever part of my growing-up years.
I'm Jangoing me some MJ in tribute.
i've been given permission to post news of our friend.. kate hasn't been very well.
not well at all.
i think much of it has been a delayed reaction to her df'ing, the general fallout when leaving the wtbs and family issues.. i just wanted to give you guys the heads up and give you a chance to show how much we care about her.. thanks for listening..
Hey Kate... take it easy, okay? We're here for you anytime you need support.
On a good note, glad to hear you weren't kidnapped by one of your online coffee dates!
Hugs, Phae
hi, my apostate friends.. a couple of weeks ago i asked for some advice regarding studying methods.
then some of you asked me to let you know my score after i take the exam at mineralogy.. i scored 90%.
i'm pretty happy with it because the exams i take are not in my native language.. if i keep up with the good scores i might get a scholarship and then bye bye watchtower society.
Hey, WTG, w-b-a!

i use to hate when people who made goodbye posts on message boards.
why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.
this place is definitely different.
Totally understand and support your decision, confusedandalone.
Much happiness to you!
