  “Humble believer” , “faith” , translates to the slavish mindset of the followers of gullible cult supporters. The Catholic Church was the first “Christian”cult - till they altered their teachings in the 19th and 20th centuries but remain dogmatic till today-followed by a host of others with newbies like the Mormons, Amish, Scientologist, JW’s etc. on the other side are the Islamist- the word Islam means “submission to Allah”, which is just another way of saying believe what Mohammed told you to believe. Faith is mindless laziness of the many who think that the human mind is incapable of comprehending the secrets of the universe. And the answer to what is yet to be learned is blind faith to a made up diety-theChristian god is borrowed from the 70 sons of El viz: YHVH and the miracles attributed to Jesus viz: Virgin birth, raising the dead,curing the sick, etc borrowed from Egyptian and Mesopotamian myths- propagated by faith based idiotic propagandists like JoenB75 . If you have evidence to offer in support of your” faith “ then do so or else take your “faith” based beliefs to a forum where they encourage believers like you. I recommend JW. Org. They will embrace yu to expound your deep knowledge on the subject with joy and fanfare.

  Clergy-penitent privilege -in my HO- is basically a sicko form of get off that clergy use pleasure themselves with.

  I was born into a catholic family but gave up going to confession by the time I was 15. I gave up the Catholic faith by 19 . And ran into JW’s by the time I was 24. Lol yes from the frying pan into the fire!

  In all that time I could never figure out why a

  man need “confess” his so called wrongdoings to another human when an all omnipotent “god” could “see” and “hear” everything on his supercomputer brain!! Never did confess to anyone about anything ever since, unless a

  few close friends spoke

  about mutual stuff. At this point of time none of those so called sins seem to be faults at all but a part of human nature growing up.

  Back to the point . JW elders, priests , Oprah and others like them- again in my opinion -are sickos who derive sick pleasure in listening to - and causing them to relive their nightmares again- other people’s in the guise of helping them. Things that should be left to qualified psychologists and others in the medical field.

  U.S government should ban all such “privileges” and have people receive psychiatric help where needed.

  i left way back in 2002, seems a long time ago now and i haven't really kept up with any developments since.. i've kept one ear open and noticed recently there is talk of the wt being investigated over the sex abuse cover ups, but over the years this story has come in and out of the news.. what is everybody's predictions as to the future of the borg?

  i know what most people want to happen, but realistically, are we just looking at certain elements being hit because of the restructuring they did a few years ago to protect from this very thing?

  looking further ahead, you'd like to think that more people would wake up?

  The WT has money and a passel of well paid lawyers who are looking out forthem. They will

  continue to thwart government and law officials and make a mockery of the law until legislation in the US changes to compel them to hand over the data base of pedophiles, their “two witness” policy along with lack reporting to the police and Child protection agencies the child abuse cases rampant within the organization. Until that happens all we have is private orgs. and the media that can educate the masses . about the pedophile problem that they have so successfully kept from the public eye and the other lies that they preach to unsuspecting victims.
