i have to tell all of you here about the shocking thing that i have witnessed at my place of employment.

let me say that i own a cell phone and i don't have a problem using it.

but there has to be some common sense guidelines about where and when a cell phone should not be used.

9/11 tapes - horror revisited

as they release the 9/11 tapes for all of us to renew the horror of that day again, i feel my anxiety level raise almost as much as it did that very day.

i watched the face of the man i worked for stare in disbelief as he came rushing into the room to watch in absolute horror as the trade centers fell one after the other killing his close friend inside.

as he collapsed on the couch, i knew i would never forget the look on his face for the rest of my life.

but my criteria is to let the scriptures do the talking.

if the scriptures indicate an understanding that is in conflict with the wt's understanding of a certain scripture then i will adopt the understanding that the sciptures bring out.

i have been reading a book by karen armstrong entitled: the battle for god.

in this book she relates the history of the big three religions, christianity, islam and judaism from about the 1400's to our day.

i highly recommend this book for everyone here to read.

ondon, aug. 16 the united states is the fourth most likely of 186 countries to be the target of a terrorist attack within the next 12 months, a research company based in london says in a report to be released on monday.. the company, world markets research center, ranks colombia, israel and pakistan as the only countries with a greater terror risk than the united states in the report, called the world terrorism index.

NO OVERTIME PAY?!

president bush will not like the response he gets from the angry 8 million plus workers out there who will be receiving no overtime pay because of his twisted sense of economics.

look, i am no economics professor, but how smart do you have to be to realize that if you take away $$$ from families struggling to make ends meet....that they will stop buying the unessentials and going on vacations, etc.... in a nutshell, helping to boost the country out of the worst unemployment in ten years!

how government can reach their sticky hands into our pockets and get away with this is absolutely criminal!
