Some doubt about the bible completely, some partially. What if the bible turns out to be a product of humans, nothing divine. Would you still believe in a creator?
I would.

good evening , .
i feel like i am going crazy - it’s so hard not being able to talk to the ones i love about how i really feel - meaning the “ truth “ is a big lie and a big waste of time.
it’s so weird - i can’t talk to my wife , or kids about how i really feel and it’s causing me probalms that i recognize.
I understand the feelings. I can only say that at first, it is or can be difficult but it gets better. Being firm on your position might attract appreciation from your family (children) and others eventually. Some might not say that ever but I know for a fact that it is. So keep faith in yourself. Build up faith in your own qualities. I know from experience that the WT makes one feel very weak or insecure, like one cannot live without them. I have been out for some years now and have regained much of my natural sense of self confidence. A very nice feeling and a quality needed to help others.
Hang in there.
a letter was read tonight in our kingdom hall that the money that the circuits in the indianapolis area had in savings to build a new assembly hall will now be transferred to the www to build kingdom halls in lands where they are needed and a new assembly hall for us will not be built.. we had a beautiful assembly hall near downtown indy that was paid for.
it was sold a couple of years ago.
we were promised a new assembly hall to be built in southern ohio near the indiana border but they can kiss that goodbye now.
Regarding resolutions. If a resolution is required, it means the money is owned by the congregation, right? Does the congregation have a set of rules on how to manage these big decisions? Is it 50% + one? Does each published have an equal vote. Or can one NO vote stop the process? In other words, what is the legal framework? If the money is not owned by the congregation, why a resolution?
As this is a big amount, I'd be interested to see what the legal framework is. If it is owned by the congregation, I would fight for it, regardless the consequences. 5 million divided by 100 publishers is a good sum of money.

branch departments as recipients of correspondence.
Thanks. Amazing the number of paragraphs on how to write a letter....to write to our country king is a lot easier...but then again, the gb members are even more important than Jesus....
last friday child sexual abuse was a major item in the 7.30 pm news by the rtl broadcasting company.the item can be watched here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvnjde0nsek&feature=player_embedded(english subs available).
I agree with Zeb, it would be good to inform the Minister of Justice of the ARC proceeds and WT responses and behaviours. But I suggest to do this in a coordinated manner to avoid a mess and people or minister think "oh, it is the former JW's only who want to complain" or something like that. Anyone in NL interested?
the report is finally out.......... ————————.
recommendations to the jehovah’s witness organisation.
recommendation 16.27. the jehovah’s witness organisation should abandon its application of the two-witness rule in cases involving complaints of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.28. the jehovah’s witness organisation on should revise its policies so that women are involved in processes related to invesation and determining allegations of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.29. the jehovah’s witness organisation should no longer require its members to shun those who disassociate from the organisation in cases where the reason for disassocia on is related to a person being a victim of child sexual abuse..
In addition to these recommendations specifically for JW's, there are also recommendations for ALL religious institutes, which means also apply to WT.
This is the body that may govern me :-)
seen in the 03/2018 watchtower study :.
"during the 2017 service year, more than 284,000 “rightly disposed” individuals symbolized their dedication to jehovah by water baptism.".
https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-study-march-2018/baptism-requirement-for-christians/.
Baptism numbers do not say much about growth. If 285k were baptized, then this must compensate for those who have left or have died. In uncertain situations, it is not uncommon that for each person who decides to leave, another person decides to stay or get baptized. I mean, some feel more attracted to the organisation just because of the bad news they hear about it. A sort of a loyal feeling takes over.
